The more new releases the merrier.

Just an ACE350 with the addition of VDI and Iron audio.

Preset ground balance.

The 200 and 300 will be the same as their 250 and 350 with the addition of a VDI.

The Garrett fans will be excited.

The low end market is getting flooded.

If they threw a GB adjustment and tossed away the bing-bong then they would really have a nice machine in the Ace 400. But really they are pretty nice for the price. What is funny is the target ID numbers are 100 times better than the ATpro/gold machines.

I can see Minelab wanting to get into the lower priced detector side of the house.

But what 3 hair splitting models??

I think their marketing gurus missed the boat!!!

Or maybe introduce one lower priced model and see what happens.

I think they may have tainted their reputation of sorts with this move.

But again, maybe I'm over thinking....

I've often wished for a Non Waterproof AT PRO..

Garrett needs to take care of it's top end line up. Not these lower end yellow toys. If I had to use one of these I would give up detecting. What an ugly freakin color.

If it werent for the bell tone the Ace series would be very formidable at the price. I grabbed my uncle an ace 150 to find track hoe teeth when he losses them. Played around in the test garden. The dern thing will hit a buried dime right at 7" with the coin tone with the smaller concentric coils. Ive had a couple expensive machines that cant hit that coin. Too bad it sounds like its a foot wide and an elevator door is about to open.

LoL!

I did hear they were coming out with some top of the line machines too though

guess we'll have to wait and see but I know one thing = that GTI 2500 of theirs is so outdated it ain't funny and they seriously need something to replace it.

Boy US companies in the detecting biz need to step up to the plate...Europe is moving forward. The US really started this and kept developing new tech but it seems to me they lag and are falling behind.

I'm at the SHOT Show, and Garrett has a booth here. They confirmed the improvements to the Ace line, and nothing better than the ATP in the near future, unfortunately.

First Texas has a big booth, too, but with their recent upgrades and models, I couldn't glean anything new from them, either.

Great folks to talk to in both booths, though!
