Anyone here try the Golden Mask Rod Assembly?

or use one of their detectors that use a similar rod? Any comments on quality? Just curious.

To me it feels like a nice soild stem/rod system.... I have them on my Golden Mask 5 and Golden Mask 1+

Not had and any issues and the cam locks are probably the smoothest I've used.

Build quality is great there is no slack or wobble when everything is fastened tight.

Hard to tell you more but if there is anything else you would like to know about them Steve please just say.

As rods go they are ok.

I have one on my Blisstool v6, feels and handles great!

Well worth the price, paid around $129.00 from the UK. Someone had it on eBay.

With XP rods running $264 this looked like a good option for those with a second coil and not wanting to swap out all the time, plus some people like a straight shaft. At $135 delivered on eBay [www.ebay.com] the price is right. I might get one for the new XP coil when it comes out.

The new MD shaft looks interesting also for those wanting an XP style shaft for other detectors. Lower price than XP and mounting plates already included. Just looking at it seems to have a cheaper look than the XP original but hard to say without using one.

I actually bought the Golden Mask rod for the extra XP Deus coil I have and it works great for that...John

Does anyone know if it will work with the Racer?

Looks good to me. I'm gonna get one and mount my AT pro on it. Thanks for the info.

Racer is pod with batteries under arm, would be very difficult to remount.
