"Small talk" (about coils)

For the Etrac----which of these two coils are the best (performance wise, etc.)?-----4.5 x 7" Detech EQ2 Pro-----or-----3.5 x 6.5" NEL Snake coil?----Opinions???

Don't know Del but I'm buying an x-5 to use with that x-8 I got from you this year. Most of the soil around here is so reflective with trash and minerals the larger coils are about useless many times. The amount of CRAP in the ground continues to astonish me every time I go hunting. The Earth is now a dump...literally. Good luck with your choice....

...a 6" coil is best...
several years ago there were some small coils built as prototypes for E Trac and tested they were very HOT but plans got shelved.
X -Terra came along and those same 6" shells became the small coils for these models.

I have in my possession one or two of the small 6" coils that never made it into production
PM if you are interested in buying one?

Not sure on the NEL coil Del...

But if it's better than the 4.5x7 then buy it quick...

Never had a problem with a SEF and they have built them for the FBS for along time now ..

I like the the 4.5x7 better than the Sunray 5..

I will say I wish we could get a 4.5x7 for the CTX..

Its a tight coil for site work...really moves FBS to a different arena in nails..

and if you need/want the 4.5x7" DD = I have one for sale Brand New/UNused Del -- just PM me if you want it
