F75 or LTD stock coil

Should you get the same depth the full length of the 11" DD LTD coil or will it be more like a triangular detection pattern?

I have not tested it but from what I have read, the DD coil should have close to the same depth over the length of the coil. This is one of the advantages of the DD type coils.

No. The center electromagnetic 'beam' is a little weaker (less depth) towards its toe and heal (fore-and-aft). This is for ANY brand detector DD coil.

Tom, that is why I said it should be "close to the same depth over the length of the coil" , which should be the same as a little weaker, I think. LOL
