Its not like the Signum in that regard.
The Signum is a VLF and can be strung out very hot and when you do a VLF like that everything has to be exact to be intelligent.
MDT once you find what works for you and you learn the language you wont tweak it alot. And its deep and unmask with just out of the box settings.
Its very easy to run really once you adapt to the audio. There's alot

I would only assume there's more to come.Apex Pro model?True all metal mode,Finer iron resolution range, waterproof. The design may already be waterproof just needs the gaskets?Maybe different coil connector.
Garret cant offer multi freq and expect to keep selling Single freq's higher priced.
I'll admit the audio in the video sounds pleasing.Beep shallow, modulated fuzzier dee

Yes I am! more cross checking a few machines actually on Tarsacci targets in the field.Last couple of months I've been hunting with MDT so X is more of a gauge right now as Is T-2 and FBS.

Tom in my dirt the Salt balance is Needed to get stable IDs but if its not right the IDs suffer.
The salt balance does not harm depth but it harms ID accuracy if its out of range.
Teresa 9mm Hmm! But seems to have lube grooves.Yet blunt nose?
I would say its around turn of century 1900 give or take.Let me study it some.

Yes 18Khz for my dirt and iron mixed, Salt always on.Try and find a freq

Denny so your saying its sounds good on XS with cursor on upper right and upper left? That's two ends of the spectrum. Are you using conductive mode?
Yes its has the sonar echo Pulse type hits!

Denny you in a hunted out area I guess your saying?
I find in areas like that with alot of units its easy to make iffy targets want to be dug yet you know there's something not quite right with the signal before you dig but you take a chance.
I have certain areas like that. I have found on the Tarsacci to go to mixed mode and set disc on zero.
Listen for the approach and departur

I find the nails strips with coin under it sound the best at down the barrel angle.
My FBS unit will hit the coin also but its negative number..
Did you slide your tone break on CTX?

Denny.
If you run the sens that high small iron will fool you till your really get the sound in your head of a nail false Vs a legitimate hit..Dont be scared to go down to say 6 SENS if you have to.it will hit deep coins on 6 sens.

Tom!
The BIGGEST thing I can say about the Tarsacci is it's NOT a VLF.And by this I mean It shows VLF technology shortcomings in I.D. abilities in target makeup and VLFs proneness to be fooled by deep big iron sounding good like a high conductor high I.D. lock.
Buried and or deep large iron on Tarsacci can be a low tone, but check same target on T2 and it's a high tone 80 lock I.

One more video.
This maybe shows the ability of the machine to see a non Ferrous target introduced to a ferrous target.
I'm trying to come up with new terminology for the Tarsacci to express what its doing. We're not really talking about recovery speeds or Separation to unmask. Were talking more about true metal analysis.Like a spectrometer.

On the Tarsacci it does not do well in airtesting nails and non ferrous together.
Its not bad at it but its not outstanding either.
It needs a dirt matrix and nail and non ferrous to see best result's.The soil becomes a binding agent.A conduit.
The Tarsacci is analyzing things in a non VLF format. It relies on iron saturation's to complete its task.
This one reason on airtest

Good report Bob.
Yes what I see in bad dirt and iron with Tarsacci is What I see in good dirt and iron with a VLF.
Can you saturate your coil with iron and get a say zinc penny..Like a large piece of iron fist sized and zinc penny.about 3 inches away.??
