Pimento,
I didn't know you liked those posts so much. I work so hard to get rid of them, not knowing how valuable they are. Sorry man. LOL

Huntindog1,
Many years ago when we started this forum, I looked at other sites and liked this software package (Phorum). Over the years, other forum software has come along and other forum software has evolved, but Phorum really hasn't updated so much. The problem is with conversion, people that have signed up with Phorum would have to re-sign up on any new forum software as I have

I've often told Tom he should write a book, but he doesn't have the time. Time is THE most valuable of all commodities, we only have so much and can't really buy any more of it.

Hi guys,
I'm working on it, I can't figure it out. I hope to have it fixed in a day or two or will put in a post that I can't figure it out. This Phorum format isn't the best forum / message board platform out there but now I'm kind of stuck with it.

I worked there from 1987 until 2008, one day short of 21 years. Worked with NASA Tom for most of those years. Too bad what happened to the place and the entire Space Coast.

Are these detectors actually any good on the salt wet slope or in shallow salt water? Has anyone ever tried (or heard) of this detector?

This is getting spooky as prophesies are being fulfilled. Eventually, to curtail identity theft, we will all be 'marked', bar coded or fit with an RFID type device to log in our Bitcoins.

Federal Reserve Notes, really?
If you have little faith in the un-backed make believe Bitcoin, then don't look into how Federal Reserve Notes are created and what REAL value they REALLY have. THAT would scare ANYBODY.
Bitcoin, Federal Reserve Note, not much difference. One is backed by anonymous, unknown people and is subject to being audited and the other is backed by a DIFFERENT gro

I hope that DeepTech finds a good U.S. distributer. There were some problems a while back on this forum to the point that I wanted to make Blisstool, DeepTech and Vista banned words. It is generally very hard to get banned from Dankowski Detectors but a few individuals with ties to Blisstool and DeepTech metal detector sales actually were. Tom had some fairly trying times on this forum for a f

Just got home from work, will delete all spam and ban IP. That's about all I can do without adding excessive restrictions to the site and I don't want to do that, otherwise we're just like a place where many so many were banned from...

A few years ago, I had a bumper sticker that red: "Ammo, the currency of the new millennia". I thought it was funny, now I find it to be prophetic. When times get REALLY tough, money will be worthless as will gold. Your best bet is to store non-perishable food, have access to water (well or lake, not municipal supplies) and store up all the guns and ammo you can, ammo more than guns.

ron_c,
There's no problem in mentioning other forums on this forum or linking directly to another forum. (The only exception to this is linking to Barry Extreme Detecting posts on other forums)

I'm going to have a few days off from my other job soon and will have to put in a captcha widget to try and stop spambots. I was hoping to avoid making it hard for new users to register, but now it is probably better to maintain the quality of this forum by excluding spammers. I'm going to try to make posting photos better and easier also.

It is a shame that our elected officials pass laws because there might be an idiot out there that will unshamedly destroy the landscaping without regard. Let's not punish the single idiot who would do such a thing. let's punish EVERYBODY. It seems this is the future of our society, punish everyone EQUALLY for the stupidity of the of the few to be 'fair' to all? How that make

I'm sorry Markg, but I could not make just the new video free shipping because of how the PayPal shipping system works. I though that I had deleted all the Free Shipping advertisements, but it looks like I missed one.
