I've had my CC for 4 years. It's a Ruger LCP .380 I never leave home without it. This includes detecting. Also while I'm at home I always have it on me as well. You sometimes hear of those home invasions where they catch the homeowner off guard watching TV or something. I will be ready to defend my family with flying lead. I also have a sawed off 12ga pump loaded with 4/0 s

Keith you just may be right? I love the Tesla quote!
All detectors look the same to my wife.
I made the mistake of putting 3 of my machines together.
She must have thought I had just 1?
That was a mistake!

LOL - It seems the older I get the grouchier I get as well. Maybe I'm ticked because ML chose to introduce an entry level machine instead of either building a light weight etrac or some kind of ATpro killer in that price range. Both of my boys "used" to hunt with me until their mother bought them Game Boys!!! I'm still mad about that and that was years ago.

Unless it had some type of true imaging I don't think I would want to dig that deep unless maybe relic hunting in the woods. I would have to know for sure there was a good target there. If you were in a park you would have to set up a tent over the target so you could block prying eyes. Just a 10 inch measured hole is really deep!

Just what I need is a bunch of kids leaving holes in the parks!!! I spend enough time filling holes from adults and Squirrels- I don't need any more!!! Me and Bill was hunting one of our favorite parks. Two guys roll up and start hunting. We could only see from a far that they were digging targets. We were maybe 100 yards apart. They seemed to be there about 30 minutes then left. We w

This is impressive indeed! Do you think they could make it remember your last settings after powering down? Also I would love to see some amphibious machines along the line and price of the ATpros.

I think the Ace 150 and 250 was designed for kids as well. But found a good following with adults as well. This is why my Gizmo's worked so well. I've been looking for a tot lot machine and although the F2 has fit that bill in the past I'm always open to other options. I was hoping the Fisher F11, 22 or 44 would work in that slot? But maybe this GO-FIND will do it? What ML n

I couldn't turn down the reward no matter how guilty they tried to make me feel! They made the treasure trove rules so they should abide by them without question.
About the Deus in the photo.... (My Dad told me years ago that if I ever caught a record fish to make sure I stuck a high dollar Rapalla in his mouth. Could pay off big?) I'm not saying this is what happened though..

I have a 15 year old test garden. All coins and tabs are at 6 inches. Every machine I ever tested hits all coins well as to be expected. I can tell on most hiogher freq machines like the Silver Sabre, Compadre, m6, mxt,f19.f70,atpro.atgold I mean the list just goes on but say 12khz or above - They bang on my nickel and tabs a lot louder than my lower freq machines say under 7khz Like the Xlt,

It is my understanding the Fisher Gold Bug 2 is still one of the best gold machines made to date at a reasonable cost? How long has it been out? 15 years? I guess if your pulling giant nuggets out of the ground a $5000 ml machine doesn't hurt so bad?

I think 1stTex made a mistake saying it the best relic machine ever. Actually it's one of the best multi purpose machines ever. I've seen posts where people ask if it will find coins since it's a relic machine. WTfreak? I think Fisher shot themselves in the foot toughting it as a relic machine and also pricing it too high. I think the only thing it could have is a 4 tone TID.

I was going to buy another ATpro for my tot lot hunting (big machine for small job) So maybe the 11,22 or 44 will fit the bill and budget better? I'm pretty much a "beep dig" guy in the

I don't start trouble on purpose. I'm pretty sure that it was Bill and I saying we compare TID and performance of the F19 against the etrac. We do this with all makes or models. I think the manufacurers would like it better if we compared their new releases against a magnetic stud finder. "Oh yes the (insert machine of choice here) hit hard on the 8 inch Nickel that the Harbor

Whites told me they were working on an "Enduro" detector. But then said it wasn't a priority. This after I asked why they haven't came out with an ATpro type machine.?

They seemed to have ganged up on us toward the end. But what I really think was the final straw for them was we put these two words in the same sentence. Etrac and F19. Also it wasn't the fact they kicked me off with over 5400 posts. It was they did it without warning or explanation. At least have the nuts to tell me and Bill why? I feel that I gave quite a bit over there as well as Bil

The only machines my inside guy told me about months ago was the f-11,22 and 44. I want another cheap TID tot lot machine and maybe one of these machines will do it? I've yet to hear what frequency they run on? But I love that they run on just 2 AA batteries.
