I recently vacationed at Daytona and St. Augustine Beach. Bill_S let me use his 800 to see how I liked it in the salt. I ran in Beach 2, tracking on, 2 tone, iron bias 3, sens at 17 and it purred like a Kitten! I really liked this machine in the Ocean! Here is one of my Beach Videos where I hit a sweet ???? well you'll have to see for yourself...... You can skip to around 9:12 to see

Awesome ring! Since about 90% of all rings hit the #12 line try using Bills trashy park program and then open up the 12 line only all the way across. This will eliminate a lot of trash and still hit the cleaner rings.

Thanks to everyone that watched and commented! I've started to add music to my videos. Do you think the music adds or takes away from the content?

One of my good friends bought a silicone wedding band because of his job back in 2011. I wonder how they would pay $500,000 for a new idea that's 6 years old?

I wish some of the manufacturers would give their machines to someone that has the most knowledge and experience of how the internal workings of detectors work! I mean it seems that if you have a lot of Youtube followers you get to be the so called expert to test these machines out. Next Diggin Britt will be the Garrett expert! Some of the testers have basically just started detecting relative

I had settled into the etrac/ATpro combo for covering most every hunting need I have. With the hint that the EQ may not be as deep as the FBS machines on deep silver the etrac/EQ combo will be a huge upgrade. From what I gather the EQ- multi freq shifts and is preset for each hunting mode we chose? Why then couldn't they have a deep silver program where the multi freq shift is set to the

I believe you're talking about running multi tones. There are several options on my etrac other than multi tones. I mean you can make it sound like any other ordinary machine if you want. The Equinox has 1,2,5 and multi (25 tones) options as far as I can see? Just find something pleasant to your ear...

I like hunting in the fall and winter because the grass is dormant, no chiggers, no ticks, no mosquitoes, less people in the parks and no sweating.

Heck all I wanted was larger numbers and a backlight! I guess I got a little more! LOL......
I felt that with the Etrac/ATpro combo there wasn't much I couldn't cover......I'll be getting the Max as soon as I sell my 6 month old Pro......

Yes -both times. I may have went over that spot on the first trip? However I was just looking for surface targets. I then decided to dig targets where the soil was bare. It paid off on my 2nd or 3rd target.

She was 100% sure the ring was there so I had to try at least once more. 4.5 hours of hunting the first day and I found it in about 20 minutes on the return visit.

It had to of dropped into a hole left from a shed being torn down with a Backhoe. That's why I started digging where there was no grass. I think it had been lost 6 months or so?

Thanks to everyone with the suggestions and tips. I'll be on the road tomorrow morning. I'll check in from time to time. Still if anyone wants to hunt with me just leave a message. I'm not sure about a gold doubloon but a ring or two would be nice!

I will have my etrac and atpro. Someone that wouldn't mind showing a Missouri Dirt Digger some good places to hunt. Just a hunt or two.
Thanks,

I have found more jewelry in the grass outfield. If it's a field that I'm completely covering I'll start up and down the left field fence and work strait across until I finish at the right field fence. If you only get so far and need to pick up where you left off at another date mark the fence by tying something to the fence like small piece of cloth so you can start there next t

I think they built in my wish list into the MAX. Just the simple things like larger numbers and back light were my 2 biggest gripes. Now they added a true all metal mode and up the transmit power to boot! Not to mention all the other stuff.... It's still simple enough for me to figure out. Plus it's dust proof, rain proof and waterproof. Most of the other newcomers can't swim
