Well ,my last post appears to have been deleted . All two lines of it . All I commented on was the initial composer of this thread was possibly becoming guilty of writing too long winded posts instead of a concise one and I don`t know about you guys ,but a long winded essay can become very tedious to get through and actually becomes in danger of turning the thread, dare I say "boring"

Yes I`d agree the original post has some very good points, but as Dan-Pa said, too many variables to bring anywhere near conclusion .
Maybe its best we just get out and detect without questioning ,otherwise it takes the "fun" out of the hobby if we get too deep into the .....who`s smarter than who ,because at the end of the day, nobody actually cares when they're swinging their de

tnsharpshooter I`d say you`ve already made up your mind on this issue and no amount of other peoples views are going to alter your way of looking at the questions you first posted, because when anyone gives you their reasons to your questions, you immediately counter the answers with .....what if `s and ah buts . We could go on and on till the cows come home with that outlook on the discussion .

Would you say a Cop with 40 years experience is , " more proficient ,or less proficient " than a Cop with 5 years experience on the streets ?
There is no substitute or quick fix for beating long term experience. And the longer experience you can put under your belt ,the more knowledgeable you usually become. It has to be noted though humans are only human and there could of course be

MY sincere apologies DirtyJohn. You are completely correct. I read what you quoted Goodmore said and I stupidly mistook it,that you said it. Please accept my sincere apology. I guess I was getting carried away in the heat of the moment

My prediction is Donald Trumps gonna win and win big. When Millions upon millions of people decide to put their support in a NON Politician and believe in him by voting for him ,you know there`s a Big change a coming. I cannot think of any other non politician that`s ever achieved this amazing feat . And just be thankful you were around in the History of the United States to witness it. And wh

Donald Trump is the only candidate that I believe in what he is saying will be what he does. That`s more than I can ever say for Clinton. She`s so slimy she makes a slug look like a piece of Sand paper. She oozes falseness and her demeanor is as false as it can get.
So I`ve always had a knack of being good at reading people, and my hope is that Donald Trump will go forth and bring the USA back

Yes Nigel the main XP importer here in the UK tells me that`s exactly what it is.
Bit dodgy to use because it will indicate an overload if you hit on a hoard ,so user discretion is advised when interpreting it .

I was one of the first people in the UK to buy a LTC64x v3. There is a big learning curve with it ,but once you get to grips with it, it does start to get easier . Depths are mind boggling, and blow the Etrac out the water . Its just over a 1/4 of the price of a 3030. they say the 3030`s no deeper than the E trac. So why pay thousands of dollars for a detector only to get a greatly reduced depth

Sorry to have to say this , but this is pure generalization.
Well in the UK it certainly isn`t the case.
Of course as in any country ,you will get to and froing of detectors by detectorists, due to undecidedness, and uncertainty, but to make a statement that detectorists are going back to the E trac as in mass

Dominic. Try ..... If your in open country fields. DE mode or PF Mode . Two tones. Sens as high as you can get without erratic warbling. Possibly around 75/80. Discrimination on 5.
You may like to go into all metal and again try your sens as high as you can get it without erratic warbling or numbers rolling. Dig nothing under 20 on the readout,as it will be trash or Iron, and High numbers in th

Jeff you say the " ledgendary" depth capabilities of the 3D. What I`d be interested in asking anyone who uses a 3D and have used the F75,is do they compare or failing that, which is the greater ? The sensitivity on the F75 is without question. the depth of the F75 is known. But would anyone who has owned both, suggest the pluses and minuses against each other .

People will be what they want to be , and there`s no problem with that ,as long as they don`t try to push their views and beliefs on other people who have different beliefs to them.Where it all goes wrong is
, people who believe in "God" are ALWAYS trying to push their belief on people who don`t believe in "God". YET!! People who don`t believe in "God" are rarely tr
