curious what some of you may be using (successfully) in after market coils for your F75's. Im happy with my stock coils, but wondering if anyone has had success with bigger aftermarket coils in terms of adding depth without changing the flavor of the machine. all responses/suggestions welcome.

I only live about 20 minutes north of Allentown, and have never encountered that kind of dirt around here anywhere. Makes me wonder if you may have been in an areas where spoils from the steel works were spread. I'd like to see that dirt. Might be interesting.

funny that. She raised millions seemingly overnight. Wonder who is financing that. Any suggestions?? I have a name or two I can throw out there but I'll let YOU do that.
While there is no direct proof YET of "millions" if illegal voters, it would not surprise me one bit. Democrats have tried for years to make illegals eligible to vote, and me suspects that quite a few do now alr

I'm pretty certain I know exactly where they were digging, and they are NOT lost coins, but rather were planted when they were running a fantasy coin hunt operation there. Thats why so many silvers were recovered. I hunted there a few times in fact. My wife and I won a trip there at a comp hunt and dug over 1000 coins in the three hours were were allotted, many many of which were silver. We

Your right Bflo. This forum has changed tremendously. And not for the better. That's why I no longer post here much. (But I DO read and appreciate Keith's informative posts).

very easy to use. tons of mounts and accessories. VERY good video and audio. Mine has the divers case. I also have a the backpac and remote. I mount it in my rifle scope too when deer hunting and it handles the recoil with no problem. Shot tons of footage last year in Alaska and it never missed a beat.

the single biggest thing about running a GPX is to make it quite. IF its barky or unstable, you will not hear those deep subtle signals. (lots of deep targets are little more than a whisper) Very deep goodies can be very faint, but very detectable If the machine is quiet. Don't overdrive it. Choose a timing that's suitable for your soil, and go SLOW and low. A lot of guys at DIV for ins

kevin.......if your getting a stable threshold in the air, but its a bit off when swinging, then its ground noise and your probably overdriving the machine a bit. I prefer a tamer timing with a higher sensitivity than the reverse. Go to a tamer timing and then run the sens/gain as high as conditions allow. you may also be running your threshold a bit high too. Set it to "just" audible.

I had mine done quite some time ago, but havent really spent a lot of time with it. Been using my G2 mostly because I have been in a lot of nasty iron lately.
The few times I did use it I didnt particularly care for it. Just wasnt "quite" the same. While it IS quieter, the seems to have been a bit of a trade off in performance, at least thats my initial assessment. BP just seems kin

its worth it alone just for the audio modulation, let alone the depth.
Superior to the TDI in many ways. ( I have owned both, including three TDI's).
MUCH easier to tell lead from iron than the TDI.
The ATX is a good machine too, but HEAVY.
Like Daniel said....in a relic hunting setting you'd be hard pressed to do better than a 4500. I have a 4800......but a lot of guys use th

The X3 isn't even close to the 5 in depth. My wife's old classic IDX would EASILY best the X3 in raw depth, and that was with the X3 tuned (ground-balanced) to MY soil. There is a coarse and fine balance pot in the x3, and you can GB it using the PP. (IF you know where the correct pots are)
Even if you set the X5 in fixed Gb, the 5 has a hotter front end.
A lot of guys seemed to ha

some simply never learned in the first place. When I started detecting pin-pointers were virtually unheard of, so one literally HAD to learn good pinpointing skills. I also typically did peoples nice manicured lawns, and leaving a mess was a big big no no. My wife simply cant function without her pinpointer. I'd do just fine without it. I only use one when using my 4800, and that's mos

I can barely stand to look at Todd Hoffman, let alone watch that show.
I prefer to look for my own gold. Going to Nome in June for a few weeks. Probably wont find a lot, but will have fun nonetheless..........

I HATE it, but the way things are today I feel I have no choice. Lotsa bad stuff out there. Way things are though you just might be better off getting your butt kicked and robbed than having to shoot someone. I wouldn't even think of pulling mine unless I had absolutely no choice and either my life or a family members life was in imminent danger. Don't brandish it.... ever.......keep i

I think that the biggest variable isn't so much the software issues, but component tolerances. The tighter the tolerances, the more uniform the product, BUT the more expensive it is as well. That's probably the biggest reason why (even with analog machines), one unit will be hotter than another, even off the same line the same day. One machine might by the luck of the draw have most com

I guess I should say I'm not concerned greatly with depth in 99% of my regular hunting. That's in heavy iron infested site like old cellar holes and colonial sites. I consider DIV a niche event. There was once a time there though where I was far more concerned with iron see thu and separation, but as you well know those days are mostly gone like the easy relics. If you don't go dee

The 12X15 Is heavier Walter, but it definitely gets better depth than the stock 11" commander. We are on a side hill at Spillmans in a spot that had been hammered before with 11" coils. Two of us were using the 11's, and a couple of guys were using the 12X15's. The 12X15's were still digging deep bullets that we just couldn't hear at all with the 11's. Believe m
