Oops meant 8.4. I've thought about going the 6aa adapter route but stuck with the 9v rechargeables. The plus is, stick a spare in my pouch and I'm covered for both the detector and pinpointer. Had the whites trx that used a 2aa adapter but I gave that to my dad.

I've been using the maha's for a bit now. I get the precharged 8.7 230mah I think. Good batteries, you might want to try the tenergy lsd (low self discharge). Only $10 for two.

No, it was 100.00, the detector was only 150.00. I see listed new for 170.00, but I lucked out and got one practically unused on ebay.

I didn't have time to proper air test so the ground reading was off. Still I got respectable numbers for inside. Comparable to pre update. Two more weeks of 12hr shifts for me then I'll put it thru it's paces.

My air test aren't that good, but I just tried it indoors with heavy emi. I was surprised I could set it on boost at all, most machines can't handle the emi. Night and day difference compared to pre update as far as stability and recovery!

I'm going to say that of the places that have been hunted 5% of them haven't been. And of the huntable places near by 20% haven't even been considered. A lot of parks have shrubs that weren't there before and picnic benches move some times. A familes favorite hang out stops being used when people move. I went to a park where a friend said he sees a guy detect in all the time.

There's one channel called the silverslingers or something like that where a couple detects together. They make some good finds but it's out in the sticks. The lady gets super excited while her husband is more relaxed, it's kinda funny.

Well I'm getting mine back today, hopefully some of that potential that was poking through will shine. Good to hear that the newest software update is doing well.

Just got a clean sweep for my SS micromax, and yes, it has lived up to the hype! Oh yeah, also got a R2, haven't gotten out with it yet but I'm confident that it will be another good one. It kinda seems to me that a lot of what we're seeing right now is digital vdi catching up with screenless analog audio. It's kinda hard not to get caught in the hype. Take the new Garrett

Lots of rain here so not much action. The mxs might be waterproof but I'm not! Been using it a bit and learning the tones. I've gotta admit it's growing on me. Never could stand the tone of the outlaw when I had it, some people love it. Can't wait for a smaller coil, every where I hunt is iron and trash.

"Do the Americans want to work for the wages Mexicans have brought the pay down to,no."
Min. Wage is $10 hr here. Most of our contractors make that or more plus work based bonuses. Nobody makes less then minimum wage. Our company pays more for the contractors than that. We would rather hire locals. Everyone is legal, the feds don't mess around.

Supertraq, at my work we employ many Mexican migrant workers. I

Guilty. Truth be told I'm sure if I had one I might change my view. It's mostly the company/customer service side that worries me. The Quest diver actually looks extremely interesting. Let's see how Detenix handles that in the future and then I may be persuaded.

Man I am out of the loop. Finally saw the Republican presidential debates and seen the candidates speaking. wuh? Weak. We need a president who can be presidential.

Quotebeyonder-paEspecially Bill S. and his. His all metal is terrible and pinpoint depth is way off.
At least on mine, the outside edge of the coil is almost as deep as the center. That being said, it is a beast on larger objects. I would like to see air test on a civil war plate/buckle. I went to a tot lot and could not go close to the swings or equipment without it sounding off. I've take

Great video lowboy. I like how you show the targets before you start to dig. To many videos start with "I got another signal over here" then they start digging. But you never get to hear/see them get the signal.

I would like to add some observations myself. On a DD coil there is the traditional view of one blade down the middle. We all know a DD coil actually has three blades. The middle, and the two outside edges. On the MX sport with the 10dd equipped any sensitivity setting over 50%, the two outside blades begin to equal the middle field of detection. When that happens the three combined fields of det

Looks like a little lower sensitivity is the way to go. The eight tone gives the nickels a nicer tone then the four tone it seems. Great vid!

So... doing some airtest and... Playing around with the audio modulation trying to get to work, finally was able to get a semblance at sensitivity of three or less. But anyway pulled out a charm bracelet I found on the beach as one of my test targets... Relic mode Wow! This coil is not suitable for modern trashy parks at all! Unreal airtest on the bracelet almost touching the back of the control

Quotebeyonder-paI noticed the audio tone duration seems exceptionally long.
Like I've been hinting, the 10 DD coil responds from the outside edge even at depth. If a smaller coil was use it would tighten up the response considerably. WJS thank you for posting your channel, subscribing!
