I just got my F75 yesterday and I took it out for a test run. GB was 88. Fe3O4 was 0.3. Interesting numbers. I live near gold fields about 150 Miles east of me.
I did have one odd problem when using my F75. It got very quiet. Actually it went deaf. I found a bad connection where the coil plugs into the case. I wiggled the coil wire and it came back to life. This was after I did a full

Well I finally got enough money to buy that F75. WOOT! If the water heater hadn't blown up it would have been sooner. hehe.
Tom I heard a rumor that you have dug all the metal out of the ground in Florida. I am going to watch that video yet again. It was a great help to me.

I am in the market for a new detector. I am puzzled by the pictures of the CZ-3D. Is there an actual display on it or just a painted on graphic? Arrgh it's the darn internet again. You can't tell everything in just a picture sometimes. You have to see it work in person.
Do you think the CZ-3D would be a good detector to have in addition to a F75?
I have spent many hours resea

I am about to order me a F75 very soon. Make sure you don't have a cell phone on in your pocket when you are detecting. I know I forget from time to time.

Yes that is a great book. I will have to read it some more. I didn't see anything about different coils but most likely it was 'masked' by the sheer volume of useful information. Thanks for making it available.
Oh, I am also ex Navy. And I worked (as a Air Force contractor) in Americas Black Space program for 9 years. Weird huh?

Overall I liked your video. It made me think of some questions.
What kind of detector did you use in the video? Some sort of Fisher presumably.
And how do coil size affect things like masking and recovery time? I don't use a Fisher detector. But many things were still relevant to general metal detecting. I am new to metal detecting. I have had some pretty good success in the few time
