I know that this forum has more LTD users than the rest combined and also some of the most expert experts on the planet. That being said here was my problem last Friday.
I had the F75 LTD on a sandy beach area of a local lake that is down about 5 feet. Normally a water detecting site except it is usually full of bikini babes and I cannot focus on detecting. LOL Anyway my LTD locked up tw

Well it appears that First Texas can and has upgraded the original F75 to the LTD. At least one has come to light. From his ad “I am putting my F75 up for sale I was on the Fisher Team at the GNRS I sent my F75 to Fisher to get all the upgrades on it even had it programed to the LTD I am asking $750 for it has a coil cover and the rain and dust covers on it.”
According to him, “I was told not

Damiano,
What depth are the fuses that you are detecting? How much iron shrapnel is in the ground around the fuses? Is there any iron still attached to the fuses? What does the FE3 O4 meter on the right side of the display read? Is there anything underground (such as iron re-enforced bunkers, pipelines, old dumps) that could be masking the fuses? Do you get a lot of "chatter" an

Matt,
Also what does your GB set to? Another question is the FE meter on the right side of the screen, what kind of reading do you get on it? Highline wires near by? (looking for EMIs that might throw some instablity into the mix) Ok you F75ers,let's hear your opinions on this one. My first guess is Sen is to high and causing it to false on everything including the end of the swing. D

Matt,
What detector are you using? Are you in All Metal mode or Disc Mode? What do you have the sensitivity setting at? If the sensitivity setting is too high you will get falsing at the end of the swing, and bumping into weeds, sticks, clods of dirt, etc. Pull the coil cover off and clean it out. That will also cause falsing. What kind of soil are you detecting in? Mineralized? Sandy?,

You guys work on the electronics. I would just like to be able to swivel the screen right or left about 20 degrees depending on if I am swinging with my right hand or left. Ergonomically it would help the neck pain as well as keeping your arm straighter. I hate having to contort my arm and crane my neck to see what is on the display. And speaking of the display – how about an antiglare scree

Tom,
I couldn’t agree with you more. I still have my CZ70 Pro, my CZ20, my F75 and next week getting an E-trac as I have been using my buddy’s for the past few weeks and really like so many aspects of it.
They each one have there advantages and disadvantages. The E-trac will be my highly minerized ground machine and is good in trash but I don’t feel as good as the F75 in nail infested area

Tom,
Just before I got my F75 I had the opportunity to hunt an open field (about 100 acres) a few times with my CZ70 PRO. On the last hunt I decided to wear my Garmin 305 Forerunner GPS and turn it on while detecting to get a feel for my “mileage” that I was putting in detecting and to see my grid patterns. I also used it to mark some waypoints on some of my finds. After a 6 hour hunt and

Tom,
He was using his Explorer SE. He posted pictures on the ITTHC club site as well as Thetreasuredepot if anyone cares to take a looksee. I can tell you that the picture does not do justice to the coin. It is his first in 26 years of detecting.

is 62-63. Yesterday one of hunting buddies (about 100 feet away from me) dug a XF 1847 Ten Dollar US gold coin. It took thirty minute to calm him down and pretty much ruined to the rest of the day for us. LOL
Anyway I did a air test on it and it showed 62-63 on the VDI scale.

Tom,
I am a very visual person and understand much more by "seeing" it, so I really understand the value of a video. I also live close enough to Missouri (the "Show Me" state), that I fall naturally in that category. I have watched your video on the CZs from time to time as it keeps me remembering what I have learned on my own over the years. I have read and re-read all

Tom,
Where can I find a detailed users guide for the F75. Something that goes into detail on JE, De, BC, etc. And how each programmable segment interacts with others such as threshold and sensitivity, mode, notch, etc. Is there such an animal out there or is the user’s guide that comes with the machine it? There has to be a more comprehensive paper than the guide, as it seems to be just a

LowBoy,
Saturday I was digging small round balls (.32 cal), flattened lead and buttons, (one an eagle cuff button) reading in the 20-24 range. I was also digging small pieces of brass and some trash in this same range. I think that depth, mineralization of the ground and patina on the items changes the VDI. Most of this stuff was Civil War era. This was in NE Oklahoma. GB was in the 60-70

I think you need to take the manual as somewhat of a quick start guide and use this and other forums (with everyday users) as the real operating guide. I get 10 times more "real" operational settings information here than I do from the manual. Optimal operating conditions are only optimal where you are detecting at the moment. Drive 20 miles and it's a new ball game. I am tryin

Tom,
Thank you for letting me know that I was not seeing things! LOL I have use a CZ since 1994 and know it like the back of my hand and got this F75 and am trying to learn every blink, every sound, well just everything about it. That depth bar was driving my nuts as I couldn't find anything about the order of the display. Oh, by the way, I read in another of your post on this forum th

Tom,
And that all sound reasonable and what I would expect and what you are saying makes perfect sense. But what I am seeing doesn't. What will cause just one bar - say just the top bar or just the middle bar to lit up and not the others? Or am I just totally missing something in what you are saying and the manual is saying? Is the processer so fast that I am only catching the one of

I have only used my F75 three times and basically in a nail infested trash pit. My question has to do with the Depth Bar Graph. At times it will bounce around with the top part lit up or the center or the lower. I would think that a bar chart would show a progression of depth. Or is this like the VDI numbers jumping all over the place in the trashy areas? I have pulled a couple of nice India

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with the F75 with the in line Sun Ray FX1 and not being about to GB? I just aquired a F75 from a friend who told me that he only used the small coil with it and didn't use the standard coil. I had a frustrating day on Wed tring to learn the machine. I have had Fisher CZs since 1994 (CZ6, CZ6a, CZ7, CZ70 PRO and CZ 20) so I know the Fisher machin
