I think that Bryannagril meant that when pinpointing that the small coil would start picking up the target at some distance/wide off to the side of the target as the coil approached the target. The F75 does the same thing but seems to do so more in this rain soaked ground we have now days.

You guys can have the money I just wished I had half the knowledge he has of metal detectors, detecting the his ability to pick up a new detector and get the most out of it.

Dan what setting were you using on the CTX?
Did you try or use Ground Coin and manual GB?
Also wonder how the small coil would have done. Most likely not any better but maybe no worst either.
If the CTX was recommending a sens.setting of 6 what was it running at in A+3 ?
Man I glad we don't have that bad of soil here.

Seeing as though it is basically a one program machine I agree but if you are hunting and moving a lot in the same area it is nice to be able to turn the machine off and not have to reset everything. I always turn my machine off for breaks, snacks, warming up in the truck or whatever No big deal but it would be nice.

Now Jack that is what keeps the world going around.
I had got out of fly fishing but lately thinking about starting back. No trout here but plenty of those bluegill to go around.

What really gets me is that pile of junk that they say is worth $400.00 that you get for free with a detector. They suck in a lot of new guys with that junk.
May be others but I notice that they don't offer it with Whites detectors. Wonder if Whites won't let them because they know its junk.

Looks like a couple of wheels fell off the Impact wagon.
Time to reorder the preorder Racer or maybe wait.
Still think Kelly Co. tried to pull a fast one.
I hope by the time the Impact hits the market Nokta has more dealers to chose from.

I do tend to agree with JD Digger.
Everyone that preordered was more than glad and could not get their new Racer fast enough. Now they can't wait to get the Impact and they don't even have the specs much less know what features it really has.
Also I think everyone should just hold tight and see what Nokta has to say.

Some of you guys may very well have it right but at some point I think Nokta will respond and until they do I see all of this as pure speculation.
Personally I think Nokta has done real well. I can just imagine what the design engineers are thinking with all the changes requested and told to make.
I will get blasted for this but here it is anyway. Nokta built a good machine in the CoRe and

Guess that means that the snow is not radioactive like it was in the 60s. Back then you would have been lucky to detect that dime at 5" with any machine.

Actually there are at least two others that post here that have not seen all the glory that some do.

In the menu layout between the Racer and F75 which I think is good.
I really like having the complete menus on the face. Simple and effective.
The arrow keys should have a edge on the knob that the Fisher has. The knob can be thumbed but guys like me with old stiff beat up fingers I have a tendency to over do it.
The arrow keys should provide one hand operation.
