i hope its not a case of having to hold the handle very tightly when not using the strap to stop the control box from falling away from my arm i hope the balance is such that the arm cup rests firmly on my forearm.

Keith are you saying that you had to use the strap ? does the Impact fall away from your arm without it ? the way the ForsCore used to for me (thats why i sold it).

I have always found the best detectors for hammered coins were also the ones that loved coke, now if only we could get Deeptech to do a Vista Smart + with a coke button that would be just about perfect.

Whats the Impact like to swing without using the arm strap ? does it fall away from your arm? if it does its a non stater for me i find straps annoying on busy sites.

I will be out on a pasture field this Sunday where we found a hoard of Charles 1st hammered coins last year a lot of the coins were shillings so i will be trying out the large silver preset for sure.

I have had the Soeverein ones since they came out they are very loud even louder than the DetectorPro Black widows the sound quality is really good i have used them with maybe 5 different detectors build quality is good, if you are in the UK try they are excellent.
