The WM 08 wireless audio module looks as though it only supports 3.5mm jackplugs and not the 1/4 inch (6.35mm) ones thats a bit disappointing for me as i do not like using adaptors.

"The Minelab EQUINOX is truly in a league of its own. In the short time I've been operating this machine, I've recovered deep coins and artifacts from iron infested sites that other machines simply cannot detect."

So its confirmed that the 600 has the full range of frequencies from 5kHz to 40 kHz with the 20 and 40 kHz frequencies just not select able as single frequencies that is good news to me. (look at the graphic at the bottom of the article)
''20 kHz and 40 kHz are not available as single operating frequencies in EQUINOX 600. The Multi-IQ frequency range shown applies to both EQUINOX 60

Of the half dozen lads i know that went to Detectival i doubt any of them would believe that 100 Roman coins were found the general consensus was that the finds were few and far between with a lot of people leaving a day early.

Another UK user review take it as you will
''I had a fiddle at Corfe, those who know me know how cynical I am.
Its fast.....very fast.
Its sensitive.....very sensitive.
Its waterproof.
Its light.
It runs for 8-10 hours.
The control box & coil can go on an aftermarket stem.
The multi-frequency doesn`t cycle through the "gaps" in frequency.
Improved processors m

The uncut video still does not prove how deep it came from it was in a small clod which could have fallen off any of the larger clods he was removing i am not saying he did not find it i just have issues with the ''deep'' claim which it may well have been but there is no proof of how deep it was.

That video shows nothing about how deep that coin was it could have been just 2 or 4 inches down after all that earth moving he did it could have dropped down from a clod and why did he dig all that earth away anyway ? the video cuts out at the wrong time and the angle is wrong, the usual procedure for me to recover that would be to dig a clod out the try coil over the clod then if no signal try

@ 21.04 on the small gold test Niel Jones ? says the only other detectors to get it are the CTX and Gold Monster and Deus and Fishers cant hm im sure a Deus would with or without the HF coil but im skeptical that the CTX can i always found mine was poor on gold.

Deeper than a CTX maybe in his soil but Im not sure how anyone could tell if the Equinox was faster than a Deus just by waving the coil along a few targets only a dedicated test rig / software could do that with results that you could see.
