man it was hot today but it felt good to get out..Hit a spot loaded with iron after walking forever !! Well this was the first target..
it's an 1840 NCO sword scabbard ..
I need to go back tomorrow and find the Drag top it! ( I hope) it should be about 3 feet away! ( Yeah Right)
thanks for looking

The higher you get the sens above 70 you will notice more audio on the deepies its more modulated till above 70 sens then it sort of like super tuning a Tesoro by turning up the threshold while in disc for more of a saturated audio ...(sort of !) I run mine on 99 sens and as long as you are seeping the coil across the ground it's pretty quite and it will signal pretty dang good on deep coin

were not aligned properly to a ferrite sample.. So there must be an internal ground balance setting in the machine? any how they are now aware and can fix the problem with a simple tweak..
You know if a machine can hit on a small piece of gold it ought to at least hot on a piece of large silver .. or it's not working to it's fullest capacity..On another note will some of the perfor

Although it does ground balance quicker than any detector I have ever seen one push of the coil to the soil and shes balanced even in 3 bar iron 80 dirt...
Now for the no so good news...and yes I have tried both coils and different disc settings and different ground balance setting from 40 to 90..And the problem is on high conductors quarter and above it will only hit one way sometimes a few

"The GBSE and the G2, with same size searchcoils attached, will probably have comparable performance, although some details of the machine's responses will be slightly different. I don't wish to discuss those differences because a complete and accurate list of differences will not be possible until we're shipping it.
Now c'mon, J.T., let me guess, the closest you'

Is the ultra fast shut down between target's..
Is the 19kh'z freq( Hot on low conductor's)
Is the ultra light weight one battery design on a S-Pole( My Favorite Rod)
and the most important thing to me and an option I wanted on the t-2/f-75= The ability to set you tone break from high to low ..
that was what kept me from being able to really pick in the iron with the t-2/

just that the g2 will be on a pistol grip like the Omega and will come with the 11' Bi-Axial coil!! and cost some more ..$749.00 retail.( I have heard mention of a G2 Pro also and that comes with the 5" and 11" coil)
The Goldbug thats out right now is the SE model which is Special Edition...Not the same as the one Cabella's has been selling for a few month's.. Supposed

when I get some time... I want to hit some iron holes on the first run...I worry more about un-masking than extreme depth!! ( But I know where you are coming from!) I hope the goldbug will unmask like the Shadow X-5 will do in the nails.. Same freq, better coils, quicker target response... Should be a great detector for pulling Low conductors...

Thanks Wally/ Tom!!
I've watched it already. Will say it was well laid out and informative! So much to cover so little time..Hopefully after a few people have watched it we can have some in depth discussion on it..Especially the relic hunting...
I have been civil war relic hunting for a quarter of century ever since I found my first 3 ringer..And I can Honestly see where you are coming

In the last week or so I have been running my T-2 (standard) in 99 sens while in think blankets of nails and I can honestly say that the 99 sens and zero disc 2+ tone will unmask targets that the lower sens setting's will not see...
It's not like you just set it at 99 and start digging great sounding targets ... But it does give you some more Audio ( High tone buzzy type hits) that

Fisher had the Impulse but I dont think you can get hold of one for 100.00 dollars..I bought a Garrett sea hunter P.I. for 50.00 that worked but no real depth ...Older Garretts seem to be the cheapest though ..
I believe you will find the older pulse machines ( 20 Year old tech) are not very sensitive to smaller type targets..The newer ones are more advanced for the smaller gold...

Used one about a year ago and had some problems with it.. Well I got hold of another one with the 3 coil deal and It is proving to be what we need in a modern detector in mineralized North Georgia red clay...
If you dont see the performance from a higher freq machine .. you may like the Omega fitted with the 11DD Bi-Axial!!!( Lower freq in bad ground does wonders for depth)
One thing that i

When you running in the Bp mode or the CL mode on the LTD'S if you want to do a quick check of the target in the stock 2+ mode just hold down the menu while sweeping the target and as long as you hold the button down it will go into the 2+ tone, stock mode. One you release the button it will revert back to the BP or CL mode . they screen will not show you the stock mode but it does it.It was

Identical in my ground of N GA.Im sure there may be some difference's from machine to machine even in the same model but what I have tested so far on in ground planted targets they behave the same with the same settings used BP mode sens around 85.
These machines are very hot either way you want .I see the t-2 more geared for streamlined relic hunting and the f-75 geared towards the all ar

a lot of work went into this production you are to be commended on such a fine outcome.
I myself have almost become obsessed with masking in the last few years as all of the easy spots have dried up for relic hunting.
I have studied square nails and there interaction to non ferrous targets in ground and out for going on 10 years now and my main approach is usually to get into a mid 1800

Hello!! I've been a lurker for awhile but wanted to get in on some of the discussions I find intriguing.I have owned quite a few Fisher detectors in my 25+ years of detecting and a lot of other brands too .I enjoy comparing detectors of different makes and models against each other in my favorite scenario which is mid 19th century house sites in my quest for Civil War relics Here in the Nor
