The standard/stock eliptical DD coil gives the best depth and target separation over all other coils.... except the 5" DD. I do not have a 5" DD yet..... but if I get one, I'll provide a report...... head-to-head.......compared to the other coils. I surmise it'll be the only other coil available that will out-perform the 7" x 11" stock eliptical DD coil in extreme tr

Yes, and it's fully described in great length in a previous thread.... and it's described and demonstrated in the DVD. (I'm a bit short on time at the moment to find the thread).

In the ID mode...... at a Disc setting of '0',,,,,, you can lower Sens quite a bit (up to a certain point) and lose very little depth. What happens is..... the more you lower Sens (whilst running Disc '0').... the more 'modulated' the audio responses become. Some folks prefer modulated audio (deep signals = weak audio). The LENGTH of the audio response can also becom

No, no. There is no secret double-zero. In the 2-digit system..... once you go below '10'.... it goes to a single 'zero',,,,,,, and I'm meaning to say 'absolute zero' is where I just barely ground balance to wet salt.

I'm going back to the same spot again..... in just a few days.... and try again, , , this time I will hunt 90Deg different from the first time I hunted this field. This particular field has produced plenty of Half-Dimes and the Quarter Eagle. If only to find one more period/era coin. I'm sure the 2-1/2D QE belonged to an Army Officer......... as the enlisted folks were paid in specie pa

You can get the F75 to 'somewhat' work on the wet salt sand..... but the performance is below-average.... at best. Using the all-metal mode with a lower sensitivity and a required manual-input ground balance is required. In Florida, a operator induced ground balance of '00' is required.

You are welcome. When you are rotating your body around the target whilst continuing to sweep......... and the tones are bouncing high-to-low and low-to-high, , , it is not a guarantee that it is just simply a rusty nail or 90Deg bent nail; rather, it may be (and in your case) = a nail and a coin. One of the clues BEFORE you dig..... is "how sharp is the high tone audio". If the high to

All CZ's........... not any particular/specific one..... as they deliberately have a 'salt' mode. Although the CZ-6, 6a, 7, 7a, 7a Pro & 70 are splashproof......... and the CZ-20 is waterproof (up to 250 feet). This should be taken into consideration when hunting wet areas....especially saltwater.

The old Barron had upgradable modules. The thought is still valid. But a removable SIM card is a bit easier to pirate. This may not be a good choice (corporately).
---- The clock speed vs. the size of the VDI screen are completely independent of each other.
---- Not sure how much more audio functions would be needed......... especially since many folks hunt with monotone...... or 4-tone. I wo

Certainly the highlight of my entire detecting career..... thus far. I have a $13,500.00 diamond earring (appraised 7 years ago) that means virtually nothing to me..... as compared to this correct-era/period gold coin. It's priceless. It was approx 5" deep.....in a ploughed/turned field.... and was a positive non-ferrous target for over 70% of body rotation around the target whilst swee

Sometimes noise-cancel is done by 'clipping' the spikes of very weak signals..... on some units. On other units, it can be as simple as a minute' freq change.
