So I managed to do a trade on my sovereign and added in cash to get a brand new f75 bundle. Looking forward to getting it and trying it out at some spots I've been to before. I've always wanted a fisher but never really jumped on one until now. Nothing wrong with experimenting and trying other detectors though, even if I do have a Deus.

I'm just trying to see if someone has one they might be willing to trade and then if they did, talk separately about it. I didn't want to push my ad on this site that's all. But since you asked.. I have a sovereign

Does that mineralization strength bar only work when you have it in pump mode? I just had it set on manual 90, but like I said, the other number above that was changing quite a bit at times

Hey guys...I took my deus out for the first time today. Definitely have a learning curve ahead of me but I feel like I will thoroughly enjoy the detector once I put enough time in it. One thing I was wondering about is the ground balance. I had mine set to manual 90 and the mineralization bar on the right was empty...but I noticed while I was detecting that the GB index number that's above m

Have the opportunity to detect an old farmhouse that my buddy and his dad caretake. Seems to be a fairly clean looking yard but have no idea as to how much might be in the ground. Just curious what settings some of you guys would use for farmhouses

So I should be getting my Deus today and I have been reading up on some things and the charging of the coil has me worried. Seems to be a common issue that the pins break easily and what not. Don't want my eagerness to get the best of me and mess anything up once getting it. This concept of charging is new to me so I'm wondering if the issue was fixed with newer units or ate there any t

I just bought got an XP Deus from Ed..,I talked to a youtuber named sscindercoop because I wanted to talk to someone who wasn't a dealer but knew a lot about the detector and this guy helped solidify my decision. I still think I will be able to find a good amount of silver with it even if its not a minelab. I'm coming from an Etrac so we shall see. Good luck to you and the CTX

I had my username changed..I was 'Tectorist but I was randomly thinking the other day and remembered the old game Dig Dug and how it used to be one of my favorites....plus the concept is somewhat like metal detecting in a way, so I figured why not.

Welp I did my research and talked to people and decided to trade my Etrac for the Deus...I just think the positives outweigh the negatives for my situation and where I hunt. Plus my body will thank me. Looking forward to whats to come

The thing I like is the upgrading. It's an awesome concept and I actually emailed XP about some of my concerns and they answered back saying
"Yes we will improve target ID at depth and iron rejection in the V4.0, but we cannot answer precisely on this subject as it is too soon for the instance. it will be available probably at the end of the summer or a little after."

That's something I've been thinking about as well. I don't seem to get the depth that I know the etrac is capable of in my ground. I still find a lot but none of it is that deep. Maybe the coins just aren't that deep

Thanks for the replies. This is just a what if question for the sake of not wanting to hurt after every hunt. I just want to be sure if I did have to switch that I at least wouldn't be missing out. I sure do love the Etrac. I'm in New York and our soil is rocky/somewhat loose

I have a couple hunts in with my Etrac so far this year and I'm starting to notice that the sunray probe and some other accesories I got for it have added a decent amount of weight and its making my shoulder hurt. Idk if I have it setup correctly or to my height or what but I'm going to give it a few more tries to see if I can figure something out. I know they make the harness but becau
