I would think that ML would launch some sort of add campaign to coincide with the conference. Perhaps, we'll get a glimpse of what they are planning soon.

Agreed, Bryan.
The Nox is a nickel slayer. My experiences are the same as yours on the Nox nickel ID range. 12-13. If it hits 11 or 14 it's not a nickel.

Des,
Very good point! I'm sure I've left good gold finds in the ground because they sounded "wrong" and the numbers were in the "junk" range.

David,
I have done well in iron infested sites using the little SEF "butterfly" coil in TTF. The trick, I believe, is that you MUST have an open screen.
This type of hunting is not the E-TRAC's strong suit but it can manage pretty well. I definitely prefer the Nox or the Deus in this situation.
BTW, I enjoyed your videos using the Anfibio Multi.

Goodmore brings up a very good point. Depth without accurate disc at depth is, well, a....GPX or GPZ. We've already got that.
Hopefully, we will see some video of it's depth/disc capabilities.

I don't know why my post was all in bold? Weird.
A guy doesn't need to fall from a cliff to be injured. Like others also stated, I'm glad you weren't injured. I didn't say ALL detectors. Read Des D post.

As you well know, Harold, most PIs handle that type of ground much better than a VLF or SMF. So, let's hope that it can. From a serious prospecting perspective, if it can't handle hot ground clos

$2500.00 for a discriminating PI is a bargain...IF it performs as advertised or better than what is currently offered.
I have paid for my GPX (and all its various coils) and my SDC many times over in found gold. This mahine would be no different.
Personally, I have no interest in the AQ. If the Terra model, though, can perform close to a GPX and has a decent disc circuit...I'm all over

Perhaps, ML will introduce a waterproof discriminating PI to compete with the "Impulse/Manta"?
It sounds as if Fisher is going to release separate "purpose" driven machines...beach, land, etc. It would be nice to have one machine that is capable of doing it all. Something like a discriminating, waterproof GPX 5000 with specific timings for your desired purpose.

Good point. I'm still of the belief that the 600 & 800 are entry level machines in a line of machines yet to be int

It's time ML introduced another gold machine. The GPZ is over two years old now. Admittedly, Detectival would be a strange venue to introduce a dedicated nugget machine. So, probably not that. A waterproof GPZ with a disc circuit would change everything though!
Probably, the next gen Nox.

Hi Joe,
The 2300 has no disc capabilities. The GPX series has crude iron disc only while using a DD coil. Daniel in TN would be the guy to talk to about using PI units to relic hunt. I have both GPX and the 2300 but use them for nugget shooting in the Southwest so I have no experience relic hunting with them. Good luck!

Del,
You did good! I love mine with the 9" HF coil. Great for those iron littered ghost towns. Cal's pitch program is excellent.
Have fun with it!

Looking forward to the video, GT. I'm glad that Bill posted this question as I was thinking the same thing. Even on FM under the dedicated sub forum there is very little regarding this machine.

CD, excellent explaination of the differences between HF and LF units for relic hunting. I only have HF or SMF capable machines anymore. The old single frequency or selectable single frequency that don't go above 20kHz have gone to other homes. At this time, I have absolutely no interest in any machine that isn't SMF, PI, or HF. Good Vid!
