Just ordered one from White's this morning, called and they had a few left so I placed an order for one.
Looking forward to using it for iron ridden sites, and see how it does in fresh water that will be interesting hopefully it does we'll.

Wish I could get a clean hit on med/high mineralized ground with discrimination, the only VLF I have that can do that is a Blisstool v6 and even then it encounters some masking. But, if it's Coin size it'll get the target. Anything smaller, mineralization creates masking so smaller targets are hard to get at any depth.
I hear you going beyond plow depth, that's new territory unt

Thanks goodmore, Brian, Keith, jrk and Stuart,
Finally had a chance to log on, appreciate everyone's comments, patience and support. For park hunting or ocean wet sand, Sovereign is hard to beat it'll still hold it's own. But in inland mineralization, it doesn't fare well on West Coast soil especially for relic hunting.
I've added a picture of the Patriot Meter circ

Looking forward to the review Keith,
Here on West Coast, most single frequency VLF fail miserably on our ocean wet sand. Depending on your ocean wet sand, the MX Sport may not do so well. But I hear East Coastal wet sand is more forgiving, who knows?
The Infinium and BBS will have the edge over single frequency in ocean wet sand out West, curious to hear how your sand does.

Thanks David, D&P-OR, Mega and El,
This has been a fun Detector to use these past few months, once in a while take her out to school fields and an old park near my job. Prefer using the elliptical DD for Gold jewelry hunting, but for deeper coins the 10" coil is deeper.
Mega, yes I posted this on Findmal and another forum when the mod was completed. Wish Minelab would consider upgr

Several months ago, made a few changes with my Sovereign using a Patriot Meter. Been using the Patriot meter a few year's, made some changes back then but always wanted to streamline the Meter assembly and remount the meter circuit board inside the rear housing.
The outcome was terrific, no excess coil cable's connected to Meter. The coil cable plugs directly to the rear housing, the

Good job on the Sovereign Keith,
Like others, I too feel the Sovereign has some life left in it. It can go on for another generation if packaged right with the right meter assembly and a few upgrades in place.
Minelab needs to give it more thought, it would be a good unit for us who see the advantages.
Excellent work Keith!

Excellent Video Daniel, Well done!
Finally had a chance to view it a few minutes ago, and just registered a few minute's ago as well. Had to register under a new name, registered under my birth name.
Your dirt is similar to my relic hunting soil, deeper good conductive targets ID in iron range. Also, I'm enjoying the AT Gold I purchased from you, it's a keeper same as my MX
