I haven't been able to access the site for over a year. Every once in a while I would try and today it worked. I needed to get a new password to log in. I'm getting warnings that the site is not secure. I hope I'm not at risk.

I remember the magazine ads for the CZ70. I think it said you could get 80 hours from a set of batteries. I really wanted one but didn't have the money.

The CZ3D looked like a replica of an antique. They should have replaced it over a decade ago. It would be great if Fisher came out with a whole new line of CZs. The place CZs really shine is on the beach.

If you get the 600, you will likely want to upgrade the headphones. The ones that come with it are cheap throwaways and look dorky. Remember that you have the option to go wireless.
I wish detector companies would stop including headphones with detectors and reduce their footprint on the planet.

We have a lot of sites like that in NH. Don't give up if it doesn't produce much right away. It usually takes six months to a year for the soil to settle and get packed down to get the deeper targets that are out of reach when the soil is fluffed up.

I think what coroly is asking is, does the iron bias setting in multi carry over to the single frequencies? I don't think it does.
I'm pretty sure all single frequency detectors have a pre-set iron bias. What would that default setting in the single frequencies be equivalent to in the range of adjustment in multi? My guess would be right in the middle but I could be wrong.

Live digs are boring and waste everyone's time. It's better when they turn the camera off while they dig the target, then turn it back on once it's out of the

Actually, you can't simply turn it off.
DST is always on. The on/off feature is really just a high/low setting. Try a non-DST T2 SE and you

To me, the Equinox wins hands down over the T2/F-75.
T2/F-75's are very finicky detectors. Nice to have as a high-performance backup but not as your main machine. They are extremely sensitive to EMI which is actually what makes them great. The EMI sensitivity is a side effect of their raw power. When they added DST, it helped with the EMI but also killed the sparkyness that they were know

The SEF 15" X 12" will get inches more depth than the stock coil on coin-sized targets in clean unmineralized ground and get incredible depth on cache-sized targets. I had it on my T2 and F-75 for years and was amazed at the difference in depth compared to the stock coil in my test garden.
Fisher does not make very good coils, IMO.
I tried the Ultimate 13" and it did not seem

4 kHz is very capable of detecting tiny targets as well as large ones. On one of my first hunts with 4 kHz, I dug a Capped Bust Half Dime in a section of area that I previously went over with Multi. I'm not saying that Multi would not have gotten it. I may have simply missed it on the first pass. But 4 kHz had no trouble detecting the tiny coin at a depth of 6-8 inches.

IMO, 4 kHz is kind of a niche frequency. It's only useful at certain sites and/or certain ground conditions where in some cases, it might give you a bit more depth or separation on high conductors. After hunting a site using my normal frequency options, I might cover the area again using 4 kHz just to pull a few more targets the other frequencies might have missed. I never use 4 kHz for gene

Live digs mean nothing. There are lots of ways to plant targets and leave no trace. If you're not in a hurry, you could even let them sit in the ground for a few months.
What I can't stand are the jackasses who go nuts every time they make a good find. Bill Ladd is one of the worst. The finds might be real but his reaction is totally fake.

People will do whatever it takes to draw in as many viewers as possible. YouTube pays good money and many make a decent living from their channels. Aquachigger, Hoover Boys, and countless others have been very successful which tempts people to start their own channel.
Aquachigger has a YouTube net worth of $151,000. You can check YouTube channel stats at statsmash.com.

I am very happy with the $89 Dune Kraken scoop I got on Amazon. I added a fiberglass handle off a rake from Lowe's. I think the whole thing weighs about 3 pounds. Strong and light.

That was Rick Kempf aka lytle78. He dropped out of the AQ dealership six months ago as I recall.

A classifieds page is a great idea because they all fall under the same topic.
A links-only page would be ridiculous becaus

What ever machine it goes on it obviously works around salt water.

Don't all coils work around saltwater?
I've always thought it was the detector that deals with the salt, not the coil.
