They are no longer being made, but my detecting friend in Finland, that made that nail board video, still owns that particular C.scope 990 metal detector.
I just talked to him about the video on the phone and he may be willing to sell his still

My dealer in Finland said, that there a are few Makro racers arriving to him in this week, so i may get to play with the one i ordered to myself in the next week. Shame there is so much snow in my country at the moment, so the actual field testing will have to wait for about 2-3 months.

Nice one. Be sure to use good quality headphones with the Deus, as it is all about the sound quality.
And create some programs, that use minimal disc as this seems to be key to gaining great depth with the Deus.

2 tones and as you know, the other tone is high and the other tone is a low iron grunt tone. Iron grunts all the way, there was not even single hint of a high

I got to use a E-trac and made a test video:
I must say, the E-trac doesn't seem to be too good in heavy iron, as it got a little too good disc against iron and seem to miss small targets next to iron and as you can see, the Xp deus shined in this test as it is designed to work best in this kind of scenario.
This is just a test and should not be taken to seriously.

Maybe they are, maybe they are not and i sure would not bet on it and detect with them in the rain, without some kind of rain protection.

I dont think it has nothing to do with depth, the coins where clearly being masked my iron junk in his test garden and somehow E-trac could not get a signal because of it.
