Well guys. I just tested this wireless combo and it works ok with the Makro racer. There is a slight background noise with the wireless Rapoo H3070 phones, but no noticeable lag. You may need to play with the volume control adapter and also with the detectors volume control to balance the sound.

Of course the 9 inch coil would help, but i was making a comparison between somewhat similar sized coils.
There are 10x5" coil coming for Xp deus that would be nice to test, but also a little bit too expensive to buy for my tastes.

After numerous tinkering with the Deus settings, i could make the Deus perform a little better at the test, but still the Makro racer seems so much better in this test..

Tried the new coil and it works fine, so the old one was a bad coil.

My stock coil also doesn't like +1 degrees of celsius, as i just tested it outside and even tested all the frequency shift options.
I hope the replacement coil arrives soon.

Why not... Is your computer so ancient, that it cannot display anything but videos filmed with a potato?

Gary said, that the detector doent have a good modulated audio..but my Makro racer modulated audio does work fine and it will tell me, that i have a deeper target in the ground. Maybe he put the gain too high and the modulated audio gets too strong.

I also considered to get the wireless headphones with the detector, but they seemed so expensive, so in the end i didnt get them. I have Detectorpro nugget busters and they sound good with this detector.

There are now two users in my forum saying, that their coils are working fine in freezing conditions...so my stock coil is faulty and i need a new stock coil.

Makro racer seems to be quite steady, when placed on the ground. But i would use the optional covers, as the speaker is only about 1 inch off the ground and so the speaker could easily get dirty.

Here is the problem i am having with the stock coil:
This cannot be normal for a coil that is working. Clearly something is wrong with the coil.
Here is the small coil in action:
Not a single problem with this coil.

How is the freeze testing coming along Keith??
Another user in my forum said, that he had no problem with the stock coil in few minus degrees of celsius.

This is the answer i got from the factory:
Saturation happens when the search coil encounters a near surface or a very large object. The device reverts back to normal operation if you lift coil up.
If the alarm and the message continues along a long line, you may be over a long metal such as a pipe.
Storage temperature is 0’C - to 40’C
