Used a friends TRX the other day and I found that with only the end being sensitive it can make it hard to locate the target. You have to press and hold the button to turn on and the same to turn off. It will constantly false on the fourth power setting. It is deep enough on the 3rd setting if trying to locate target before hole is dug. Just can't warm up to it yet.

So what is it with the TID on the LTD. It gets in the general area of the target but the numbers are all over the place. Even on air test it never hits one number. I've just had to learn it by the tone. If its solid I dig but in 3 tone it bounce from mid to high I move on. May be missing something but so far its always trash. Could it need to be calibrated? I know they say tones may not matc

Excellent condition. I used this to hunt in TTF and as of late I have haven't been hunting in the iron. Have been field hunting with larger coils. 125.00 shipped in lower 48 only. Accept PayPal(add 3%) and USPO money orders only. This coil has great separation and depth. Will post picture later in day.

Definitely worth trying it out. I will be getting out later this week and will try it at a spot the F75 is just not my go to. I got a NEL Sharpshooter coil today so will be trying it and the 5 out. This is a old house with a lot of minerals in the ground. Not sure I need the notch at this site but will turn it on as its part of the formula. Sounds like its more of a trashy park setting.

I find a lot of things that don't get posted. Gotten several silver rings along with a hand full of Merc's and Rosies lately but I save posting these days for the unique or old finds. I just don't post as much as I used to. Rarely relic hunt but spend my time in pursuit of older coins and gold jewelry. By all means if you want to take the time to do so I am glad to see what is bei

Of that list the CZ6-A and the Sovereign would be the least expensive followed by the CZ20, Explorer then E Trac, and followed by the CTX 3030. Doubt you can find a AquaStar-II unless Tom wants to part with his but pretty sure it would take 6 figures for that. LOL

On Wednesday morning after my club meeting I called the property owner where I had found the coin and told him I would be bring the dime back with me this weekend when I visit my friend next door( about 1/4 mi between them). He stated he appreciated my honesty and I could keep it. Turns out he realized I had done all the work to find it and I was welcome back any time. But he also mention during

Didn't I just see a post on Teknetics coming out with a new MD this year. Had to plant that seed. Could be a G2 upgrade or a even better T2. Now what you going to do? lol

I've had a bunch of old folks see me out and even walk down the street to see if I'm looking for a gas leak. I tell them no. I'm looking for buried TV cables. LOL

Slowly and quietly. Sell one of lesser value and work your way through. Sure you could find some cash buyers for the under 10,000.00 coins.

Will be shopping for one. Even though they are they same coin I found that one. That means everything to me. I can buy coins all day but to save one from being lost, very satisfying to me. If I tell the property owner from the start that I will give him my finds I live up to that obligation. He didn't ask and I didn't offer. Pretty sure I'm done with the site but I gave him my word

NO! Tesoro won't be release one either. Just put the name out there to get people off their back about discontinuing the Golden. I have to believe that or I can't sleep at night. LOL

I would guess where your looking as to how good it would function. The soil at some of the site are so laden with coal ash and iron that it really takes a pulse MD to punch through the soil. With a concentric coil it wouldn't handle the minerals in the soil as well. I would say in ordinary type soil it would see buttons and coins really well. I would say there are better choices but use what

Went to the site that I posted earlier that had all the Indian history and at the last minute plans fell through. So I took a shot and went to the neighbors house that let me hunt at the old stone wall that is just off the wagon trail that gave up the 1853 Seated dime. As luck would have it the owner was there and gave me the OK. Took the F75 with the 5" due to all the growth and minerals on

No doubt the At Pro has been a big seller so it will be along that line and price point. But if they what much longer will miss a lot of sells. DST is the 9th and its on then with the longer daylight. With Diggers back on I can see the ATP's going out the door. lol So a remake of the Golden with GB and TID.

They did take a beating in the past. Still a little late but better than nothing. The other show in Western Pennsylvania did have some great finds. Wonder if they paid to hunt that spot? It would seem the archeologists could swing a coil on their own. Just wondering.

I've been reading good reviews about the NEL 5.5x9.5 for the F series but haven't spent enough time with the stock coil to see if I would change coils. Did use the 5" coil yesterday and will post how it did later today. It hit pay dirt. The 5x10 is priced right but if past inquires into coils with K-co holds they will be sold out and you have to pay and get in line for next order.

One site is but the other not so much. The least trashy site has power lines running down road in front of it. The other has no lines near it but still lots of minerals from the farming. I pulled a 1905 Barber quarter and a 36' Mercury on Tuesday with the ET and they are both dark from the fertilizers used. I'm sure it contained a lot of iron in them to green things up. The good news is

Was hoping for some but at the old sites I was at today had to go to 3 and with the 5" run bp at 50 sens. 15 disc and still was bouncy. Tried all the different freq. along the way also. Lots of minerals and when I ran 4 tones it was very noisy. I am used to that with TTF on ET but with the 4 different tones it was confusing at times. The sites are tough due to the trash over the years. Hard

When you re using the 5" coil and looking for the older coins would you use the 4H to put the nickels into the high tone range or leave them in the mid tone area? There is a lot of trash at this old site if that matters. Thanks JR

Must be your MD MRH. I run mine down what used to be a trolley rail in 1920 Charlotte and the power co has used it for a path for the large power towers. Stable as can be even with the 13" Ultimate. Couldn't use the GBSE or the G2 at that site at all. When I ran the ET 705 it had some issue with it but was able to get it under control with several adjustments and a smaller coil. Could u

Going to a site this afternoon to hunt a 1900 house that has been good to me but away from the house. Even though it is down a long dirt road at the end it has been used as a party site for local teens before the owner posted it and shut that down. Loaded with caps around front and side where drive is located. Taking a Sunray 5" and the ET and will try to pull something out of it. Trying TTF

Good to hear. I have one on my ET and it never comes off. Just looking at the NEL 13x14 for the G2 and it is priced to sell. With the reviews from folks here it should have some extreme depth.

At the time that was posted I was thinking that was for the standard T2. Have passed on the purchase due to the storm damage that it has caused at my house. Storm from hell.
