Fisher F19 amazed me today!!

I found 10 wheat pennies and Mercury dime today in a site I have pounded to death. The deepest was the Mercury at around 8" full length of my Lesche hand digger and about a inch. It gave a good ID and a pretty strong audio return almost sounded like it was 3" down instead of 8"-9".I was tempted to get rid of the F19 but not anymore!! This site is loaded with machine gun iron grunts.

Good hunt Morgan.----What coil was you using on the F-19?

I was using the stock 5x10 I love that coil.

F19/G2 are great detectors and will always have one around. So darn good at pulling IH's and such out of iron and EMI resistant too. Never gave a thought to letting the G2 go when I ordered the R2.

If you want even more/extreme depth from the F19 = you outta try the 13" ultimate on the unit = it'll have you diggin coins at a foot deep!

MRH I tried the NEL TORNADO coil on it and it added more depth but the pinpointing was a pain in the buttocks and besides the sites I hunt are filled with machine gun iron grunts. U figured I'd have the same results with the 13" Ultimate. The areas that are not filled with iron have been hunted to death. For extreme depth I have a Minelab Explorer XS and 10.5" coil to hunt with.

The F19 is a lot like the racer with the same coils 5x10 but the racer is better built and you can go deeper with less power. I tested both machines in the gold country and kept the racer.

That doesn't surprise me. The F19 is a sleeper machine. Plenty deep with possibly the best and most solid target ID's of any Fisher. I wish it was waterproof...

That & the fact that it makes a super coin competition hunt machine.----F-19/G2+---what great little units & a joy to use!

I've used them all including the Racer and in iron the F19 makes finds nothing else will, at least in my ground.

Yeah I watched that video from the very beginning when he started digging the bottle caps I was calling them before he would diggem. Finally towards the end he was learning the machine. LOL

Are the f19's all the same or is the f19 Ltd a improved version.
Seems like I remember problems with the first released units,depth issue I believe?

F19 and F19LTD are the exact same units, only difference is the camo on the LTD version. Performance is identical.
