Do you see what I see in these pics from Nokta's Facebook page? smiling smiley I tried reading the posters on the wall but can't see any details in them other than it says multi freq and what appears to be a few freqs given under it. I like how it looks though...similar to a CTX 3030 which to me, is a very comfortable detector to swing.

Really hope it's water proof. If it can get wet and the gain operates like a racer or core but at 7-9khz I may not need another machine.

It is not waterproof.
It does have a low freq of 5kHz though.

It be will good when they tell us about it, I like what are doing to detecting, and I hope it has some serious power.

Thank you.
Just wanted to give you an update - we did NOT launch the detector at the Paris show.
We did have a full working sample with us though.
We still need to go thru field tests around the world.
Yes, it does say multi-frequency and they are finalized as 5, 14 and 20.
Thank you!

Hopefully Keith's testing one, if it hits his deep dimes clean I'll be buying.

This company likes to keep moving forward so in the future you may get what you want. They are not like the US companies that seem to be stalled. I trust that they will have something for all of us in the near future. Have faith.

Thanks for the quick response. Do we have targeted release date or msrp?

Very nice selection of kHz.... Nice a rugged looks also.
Re: Nokta Impact pics

Looking at the frequency selection I would say "multi select-able frequency" would be a better term.

I'm glad more are going this way. I hope you don't have to change coils to change frequencies like the Minelab Xterra and AKA units require.

2017 should be a good year.

Looks like they used the same rod setup as Deteknix used on their Quest Pro.
Re: Nokta Impact pics

It is very interesting to me whether Impact will be able to compete to technology of double frequency in AKA Intronik STF?
On recently taking place Bulgarian meeting this detector was out of competition due to simultaneous operation at pure two frequencies, that is the purpose is rung out directly at two frequencies and in case of identification the purpose signal from these two frequencies is considered.
Whether it will turn out so that simple switching of three frequencies in Impact will certainly lose to new technologies in metaldetectors?

Re: Nokta Impact pics

Only thing with the Intronik is that it will be the same price as a minelab GPX unit..... So I'm sure there will be some differences in performance but a even bigger difference in price..... I'm sure the Impact will be the strongest performing detector in Nokta's range by a good margin with good gains to be had over the Fors Relic and so on.
They have a nice low kHz in this Impact machine what will punch deep on bigger items so they have opened up new opportunities for a complete range of detecting.

Can't wait to see how this new impact performs for sure.

Has the Intronik been released yet?
Running 2 freq or a threshold and other freq simultaneously is not really new tech though.
Have you any more info on the Intronik?

Say about the level of 2000 euro for Intronik.
In case of its lift-off on TTX from the current detectors for 30% it is very serious request, especially considering the improved identification of the purposes.
Impact offers only switching of three frequencies in case of what how exactly it will occur?
Directly during a detector operating time clicking of the button and without GB of the detector?

Until Nokta release full details of the Impact no one knows exactly what it can do or how it works and anything else is just guess work.

3 frequencies will be selectable.
Price and release date - Unfortunately, we cannot provide that info until the field tests are finished and the product is finalized.
Thank you very much for your patience.

Thank you for responding, we are looking forward to the release date.

will every coil released for it be 3-freq capable? if so will these coils be quite a bit heavier than a single freq coil?

I'm conserned about weight and more importantly balance....

good work on the 3 selectable freqs!

will it have a good solid tracking GB?

Looking at Nokta's past Coils I don't think there will be an Issue, Whites Coils cover a frequency range from 3 kHz to 22 kHz, So I think what ever Nokta brings out will be Top Class Items.

Yes, all coils will be 3-freq capable.
They are not heavier at all. As a matter of fact, the standard coil is slightly lighter than the current Racer 2 coil.
It will have tracking GB.

Coool , can't wait for the release date, Keep up the good work.

Interesting looking unit!

Got two questions though...

One, is that Dilek at the table,

and

Two, who is the guy with the Helmet and Hammer?!? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

:-) I can only answer the first question.
Yes, that is me (Dilek) sitting at the table.

I've already got my selectable frequency covered with the White's V3. I'm holding out for a multi-frequency 'something' to compete with Minelab's FBS units.

Please educate this rookie. How would someone go about using the different frequencies in lets say a park/sports field. Would you first detect with 14Kz and then switch to 5 or 20 depending on what you hear/see in 14Kz? Or would you use a specific frequency based on the location and the type of targets you are searching for?

The frequency you choose can effect a couple of things, The first being what certain metals respond to best and the 2nd relates to how deep a frequency can see in to the ground, So there is no perfect frequency because what ever the target is made of the detection depth can change when it comes to ground mineralization, where a coin might like 20 kHz the ground might prefer 5 kHz and that is a 15 kHz gap so the happy medium between the target and the ground might be 12.5 kHz , that is where the 14 kHz frequency comes in to play but the levels of mineralization vary so the Ideal frequency may be anywhere between the frequencies you have at hand or with some machines the use of all 3 to gain the best results.

Hope that helps.

John.
