The one on Ebay is already at 465.00 plus shipping.
So they are still in high demand.

Tesero should just release them in black again.

The 'new' audio tone ones are worth every penny of that! I have two settings that I like to use. The one that I use for modern sites that don't have a bunch of beaver tail pull tabs, but are loaded up with foil caps and modern day stay tabs that come off of coke cans is to set the discrimination just high enough to break on a foil cap and set the notch width control knob just low enough to break on the modern tabs, but still accept nickels. Dig all the nickel audio tones (gold audio tones) and all the high tones. You're in the gold ring zone without having to dig a bunch of trash and you will still able to pick up silver rings. I paid a lot for mine, but it paid for itself in no time at all. This detector is not for the average user. You have to spend some time learning how to properly use it.

Not many detectors have a movable, dial in, "Gold Tone" like the new toned Goldens do.

Stop it, Tabman or you'll talk me into bidding on it. angry smiley spinning smiley sticking its tongue out I'm doing my best to stay away....even to the point of creating an improved Golden program on my V3.

I know what the Golden µMax is capable of doing in experts hands like yours. The Golden µMax wouldn't be worth nearly as much to the average user.
