Looks ok but those welds are far from something to be proud of in my personal opinion

2lowrenzo, if you want something welded, let me know. My buddy is a master, especially with stainless. Whoever did tjose welds, lol.

Funny how you guys say the welds are bad I have a predator shovel and the welds are the same....and I have wedged heavy rocks out with this...you guys are tough

Thanks for posting that sucky shovel! It ruined my life and I lost thousands of dollars on it! I will never EVER be the same again because of that stupid sucky shovel!

Lowboy I weld in my job being in industrial maintenance I've seen welds like the one on your shovel hold up for eons and then I've seen welds that were the prettiest welds I've ever seen not hold up at all. It's all about burning in both sides of the metal to make the weld hold.

Just wanted to be sure this shovel was not going to break when I start to pry out heavy rocks or metal held down by dirt that is very deep...But hey I still like the way it digs and I'll trust the designer on his work...If I have a problem you know I'll post about it...

Down here we call'em Dirt Dobbers.

I pipelined. Dirt dobbers got stepped on in a hurry if they made it through the test and actually got on site.
