KNOWk-Tah or NAHk-tah? How is it pronounced?

I say NAHk-tah (with a short O sound). Not KNOWk-tah (with a long O sound), but I've heard Kurt Franz of HooverBoys say KNOWk-tah (long O sound).
So which is it? How should it be pronounced?

I think since everyone in the good ole U.S. calls the Deus , "deuce" , we should begin calling the Turkish machines Not ka.

Guess it depends where we live. Some of you Southern folk speak alittle funny. Just teasing.

What does Dilek say? And is it pronounced "dill-eck", or "dy-leck"?

I've kinda wondered that myself. When I say it, I say it KNOCK-ta.

But in my southern slang, it comes out with a D instead of a T....so it sounds like Knock-Duh.

Used in a sentence it would be the same as saying "If you don't sit down and shut up, I'm gonna Knock-Duh crap out of you".

I know the first time you called Dilek I answered and you with your up beat happy voice said Hello Keith this is Dee-lek...

I thought to myself after saying hello ....I've been saying your name in my head and I hope not on Video as DIE-LIK...

I think maybe before we hung up I said DIE-LIK too...Sorry if I did..

I have problems pronouncing the DEUS detector..I just call it DEUCE easier on my mouth that way..

I'm awful with pronunciations!!
