IMPACT SOFTWARE UPDATE - AUDIO TONE ACTIVATED IN DI4 AND VLX2

Unless my eyes are playing tricks with me.
It looks like VLX2 mode is affected as well as far as the update giving it the same capability as DI4 mode.

Now back to the kitty litter box.

First time for me doing an update, piece of cake, now to go play...................

DeepTech Vista X with 3 search coils.

You are right... VLX2 is updated as well.... edited the topic...THANK YOU for pointing it out...

what is "auto tone feature" mean? something like full tones?

On the Impact, on some programs, you have the ability to change the tone pitch (audio tone) for different segments of the VDI range. You also have the ability to change the Tone Breaks on some programs as to where on the VDI scale you want the detector to change the tone pitch. This enables the user to adjust the tones to their liking as some folks hear high or low tones differently, better/worse. The recent update allowed audio tone changes to two more of the twelve programs. Some programs are factory set and can't be changed such as DI99 which has a different tone for each VDI number. I usually set a low tone for iron, mid tone for low non ferrous items like nickels, and a high tone for clad and silver coins.
