Surprising how many nice finds from low end Garretts..luck does play a part in hobby for sure...

That's it I am selling all my detectors and buying a ACE..

1901S is a semi-key date too! I think the fact that so many ACE's make finds is simply due to the fact that there's a ton of them out there. Many of these finds are not deep or difficult, just being at the right place at the right time.

My wife's 84 year old nail client, name Mimi uses a ace 150, she hunts the Tot Lots & Baseball fields.

She is always finding jewelry she had that ace 150 paid off a long time ago.

I am moving to Kansas.........

Think it speaks more highly for his research that it does his detector. Nice fine either way, but I agree with others, Lady luck has got to be on your side.
