When Nokta came out with the Anfibio I was trying to tell my buddy about it. He ask me what the name of it was all I could think of was Antifa. I've been calling it that ever since. That's what I get for being a southside redneck. Lol

My friend used to order the Filet of Fish sandwich at McDonalds phonetically from the menu.

On the menu it was Filet-O-Fish sandwich.

Just one more good target before I go.

"Or" , pronounced "or" is French for gold. It's used to give fancy-sounding names to several grocery products here in the UK. Fancy some Carte D'Or coffee ? Or maybe something stronger, like Le Piat D'Or red wine ?
But many French words that end in X have the X silent, so maybe it's just pronounced "or" ?
For words where it is pronounced, like the number "six" , it's pronounced "cease". So that would make the Orx an "Orse". Which us Brits would assume is a horse , spoken by someone vulgar: " I'll get the 'orse 'n' cart ".

Good idea, ask an Englishman how to pronounce a French word. Didn't we manage to transform "d'accord" into "OK" ?

An ORICK (Oreck) is a vacuum. So maybe its supposed to be a coin vacuum?

As a native french, diggers is right "ORICKS" as for the definition on this one it could be OR ( gold) and RX (Receptor in electronics, often used in metal detector electronics rx/tx received and transmitted(emitted) signal ).

For the deus it's from latin so it sound like more "DAYOUS" for english speaker ( which mean god for those who didnt knew) .
Bare with me it very complicated to find the right sound , i had to use google translate to compare the pronunciation , deus is more complicated to pronounce even for french people.

I just figured the ORX name was derived from "Oreck" as in Oreck Vacuum Cleaners. Guessing this puppy will suck all the coins/gold right outta the ground. Is this the machine for 2019 that will make everything else "obsolete"?

I wonder if they are naming it after a vehicle model name like Minelab does?

could be too.

the jury is still out on ORX finds as guys are just getting hold of them so it will be a few months till we get some hard evidence from major or not major finds compared with deus finds
