Interesting they want to know what social media sites you belong too, however not one question regarding how long you’ve been metal detecting....

It makes sense that they would want a variety of users, both fairly new , and very experienced. If you're launching a new entry-level machine, it would be useful to know how an entry-level detectorist gets on with it, for example.
It appears to be marketing to me. Its got to be money saving not having to pay the forums or other media to get people looking at their sites and asking about their equipment. IF they can get some quality people who post these social medias and do good videos...... that represents a lot of cash savings to be spent else where. We can generate an awfully lot of interest in new equipment.......the ole .... word of mouth.
Yeah, that’s pretty much what I’m thinking.

Make a good product and word of mouth will sell it for you. Hype will only get you so far. Hopefully, Nokta-Makro has enough common sense to make a small 6 or 7 inch 'concentric' search coil for the X. The X is basicly a relic detector and will have trouble competing with the top of line coin shooters, so they had better have a small concentric search coil for it. You just wait and see.
