In my side-by-side testing at several beaches I found that the CZ - CZ 6 in my case – was deeper on large objects than the knocks 600 on Beach 1.
On small stuff the knocks was more sensitive and had better depth

I have had 1 or more of every CZ series (5,6,7), save the 20/21s (sad smiley). I still have a couple 3Ds. There is no argument that it is magnificent tool. Tom's DVD showing him hunt with one is hugely impressive. I do believe though that it has enough of a learning curve that most detectorists will never master it before fatigue and frustration win out. The 'Nox is so much better evolved to both ease of use and communication of target information, that I would feel guilty not encouraging it's use over the CZ. My 2 cents (not zinc I hope).

My results in plain dirt with the Nox vs. the CZ 6 were similar.

The Nox is way more versatile, but also - for some it seems - way more confusing. The CZ is simple. Turn it on and it performs - a few basic settings and you are away. A lot to be said for that. I know the Nox can be used the same way, but the problem is the “worm”. It’s the worm that burrows into your mind with all those variables hidden amongst the controls - how to set this - how to set that. The difference between a Samurai sword and a Swiss Army Knife....ruthless focus or amazing adaptability. Take your pick.

Cool finds. The one relic looks like a pawn from a chess board (obviously it is not).

Do you know what the symmetrical piece above the buckle on the lower right is ?

Cal...were you running a Relic type program ?
