It doesn't look any faster than the DEUS, maybe it's just the way the targets are arranged, I'm not sure...

Very impressive as the nails were very
large relative to the quite small coins used.

Even if it's "just" the same speed...........and "not any faster"........

Martin, between the gold and smart, which detector is deeper on coins? Or, are they very close?

At this point the Vista Gold seems more REACTIVE and zippier...Just from the sounds I am hearing...

The Smart seems closer to the RG 1000 speed..Mayeb a tad faster...

I see the GOLD fast speed when comapring it to a DEUS as more closely to a reactivity setting of 3 than the 2 ...the DEUS can get quicker than any but after about 3 it becomes detrimental...Too fast to discern..

Actually the GOLD Vs the DEUS 3 reactivity ..the Gold on fast is a hair less quick but conveys more audio and retain's more PUNCH...The GOLD fast is faster than a DEUS 2 but not quite a 3 but very close with more audio nuance and depth for the speed it's attaining...

The GOLD I would think is a 2.75 reactivity when comparing ..

Whats your gut feeling Martin on the reactivity of the SMART VS GOLD...

Hi possum mo,

in low mineralisation the Vista Smart and the Vista Gold reached nearly the same deep. In higher mineralisation the Vista Smart is a little bit deeper. In my testgarden approx 1"-2"

For me the Gold did a little better.....iron volume helped a lot on that last nail/coin ,I'm leaning towards the Gold as of now...but gotta see Keith's test first.

I like the high tone of the Gold better than the Smart...

Smart high tone seems a little close to the low tone....

I believe I can detect the Gold is a hair faster....But Never Know..Videos dont convey everything unfortunalty...

Unmasking is a game of millisecond's...I have a gut feeling the Gold is Vista's premier unmasker for iron......Again just a gut feeling...Were else can you get 25kHz...
