Input would be greatly appreciated.
I'm guessing its max depth is something like a 4".

I had it and didnt like it. As far as small coils for that machine, nothing's better so far than the 5" round. Awesome combo in iron.

Search the forum for the F70/F75 concentric coils (same one as the small elliptical you're talking about) to get other users points of view.

Some users liked it and said that they thought it was more sensitive to small gold jewelry than the 5" DD.

I can assure you it will hit a 7" dime if you turn your sensitivity up. I think it's better in a bed of nails because it's concentric and less likely to false on the edge like a DD. It holds it's value pretty well, so if you buy one used, you could try it and sell it if you find yourself in line with the others in this thread.

I have no problem getting 7" on a dime in my ground here in W Tn. I use the coil a lot for woods relic and coin hunting. HH jim tn
