Interesting story a few weeks back about how a plane that landed in India, had each passenger carrying a kilo of gold. Due to the high premiums and taxes on gold in India, smuggling gold into the country is becoming more and more prevalent. Gold is a store of wealth there, and even more so now, especially since their currency is being debased week after week.

The FRN is being debased month after month, but since it is the world reserve currency, it has special standing....FOR NOW ! Only a matter of time. All fiat currencies, ever since they came into existence, go to zero at some point.
