Last Three Weeks Of Hunting

Went out for the last three weeks its been a long time since I had found anything. Hunted full days came home tired but on a natural high to find all of this history almost in my back yard...It was so nice hunting after a few days of rain. Late storms for the gold country and the ground was perfect for digging.

The ball is from a canon they had about six of these in a shell and then shot them. I use a AT Gold it is fast and deep.

We had the army here when the gold rush started. Some of the land was owned by Mexico and they moved them out. It's call the land grant. I was not in that area but never the less this may have been from dirt being moved around. I found a US buckle from the 1870s in an area that it should not have been there. And a sword buckle at a China Camp. You never know what you may find on any given day...at least thats my take..
