Anyone in the US used a Nexus detector?

Are they to hot to use in the US.

LowBoy I run a Deus also and really works well for me. On the Nexus I said to hot meaning transmit freq.

Their is more to detecting life than the Deus LOL. It is nice to see a person so excited about their latest machine though.....

Ha ha, yeah!----Think the query was about the Nexus. (grin)-----I don't have an answer for you on that one Frank.---Hope Keith, Tom or someone does though.

Is it possible to have any threads that do not get the DEUS fanboy treatment? The answer to everything in life being "just get a DEUS" is getting really old. Personally, I find the machine to be over rated.

Over here in Europe they take pity on you for not using it :-)

The XP Deus crowd is very defensive of their brand, maybe because deep down they know in all it's glory,... it's a single frequency VLF that has a few tricks up it's sleeve.
So is an X-terra 705!

The Deus in the hands of a newbie is about as good as a BFO in the hands of a guy like Steve. Regardless of how good the Deus is touted to be, it sure shows up for sale as a used detector more than almost any other new detector I've seen lately!

It is not an easy detector to understand till you put the time in

I noticed some Nexus machines on Ebay lately and was wondering about them as well .

Phew!! And I thought I was the only one not particularly fond of the Deus.

Good decision Ken, good little relic and tot lot/jewelry detector. I have had several of them in the past and in my mild Ks soil they work good with disc set low at nail discrimination. I had the older 7" Compadre, wish I hadn't sold that one, it went pretty deep.
