What would you do?

I see someone in a group I belong to found a 10 year old "time capsule" a kid hid. To me, it's a no brainer to leave it be. But this person took it as a find. Am I wrong with my thinking? It just doesn't sit well with me.

Yeah,Id leave it. Whats the point of. taking it?

You have to be pretty desperate to take it in my opinion.

He's a Chump if he takes it. . . . . Detectorist, lol !

Can someone refresh my memory and tell me whats the purpose of the time capsule?

I would report it if it was at a school how long ago did the kid pt it in the ground I might give it back to the kid or how ever old he is...If it was not marked just put in the ground no name or anything like that then I would have to think about that

I have no way of knowing for sure, but my best guess would be that the kid put the 10 year old time capsule in the ground around 10 years ago. :-)
