Yes we have been very busy... Impact and others... many projects in the works.

If anyone can get this right and offer a great gold hunting machine it will be this company...I think the US has to play catch-up now and maybe for a long time

Great that you're including both the 5" and 10’’x 5.5’’ coils!

Question - is the 5" actually a 5'' x 4.5'' (13 cm x 12 cm) OOR coil like is on the Racer?

Also when is the Makro Gold machine coming out, or is that still on the release list?

It's great that Nokta are hot on research and development.... many companies are dragging their feet and are in hibernation...... Variety is the spice of life and with new machines in the pipeline Nokta are going from strength to strength.

Good stuff.

How much more power will this new Fors Gold have over the original? Say in terms of picking up a 3 grain mini-nugget at how far in an air test with each coil? I have the original and am not happy that I might have to buy a better one from the same company so soon. Of course I don't HAVE to, but I gotta have the best!

Hello and thank you for the question. There are significant differences between the 2 detectors including the frequency, the modes, the iSAT as well as the coil. As a matter of fact, when we say more power, we do not mean more depth. The overall performance of the Fors Gold+ has been advanced for gold fields and it will handle the mineralization better. The Fors Gold+ will detect very small nuggets that Fors Gold may miss especially in high mineralization. Hope it is clear.

Uh oh.... Anytime a mention is made of handing mineral better...it gets my attention. This might mean bye bye Racer.

The Racer Gold is the one I'm waiting on!

If the ISAT is in line with some of the older whites sat's, but with tighter fors/makro coils I'm very interested. Paticularly if on a lower freq platform.

The frequency of the FORS Gold+ is 19kHz.

I'm with you Dilek, I should been more clear as I meant a self adjusting threshold on lower freq units going forward.

Will the OLD Nokta Fors Gold Pro-Package COILS on (15 kHz) work on this NEW Nokta Fors Gold Plus on (19 kHz) or aren't they compatible swaping coils from one to the other viser verser etc?

Not to change the subject but you did mention the impact.....;o) Cant wait to try one.

I doubt the new machine works with old coils - different part numbers. However, in case nobody noticed a 10" x 5.5" concentric is being offered as an option. Concentrics offer the possibility of better ferrous id on flat steel targets like bottle caps and typical flat ferrous trash found in old cabin sites. This machine is of course aimed at the prospecting market but has definite possibilities for the relic hunters here.

Currently no unless majority of the users demand one.

Wow this looks amazing, all the coil choices and a concentric too. Looks like will work good in my area.
