Maybe I'm old school but an 8 inch coil is not a small coil. Something between 4 and 6 inches max is a small coil. The old whites 4x6 was just about the perfect size. If I'm going to use an 8 inch coil I might as well use a 9 or 10 for everything.

I thought all CW Rifles were smooth bore? Well anyway I found this .58 Minnie with what appears to be rifling marks? But the marks are dead strait....... There are 7 marks. The wider areas measure .150" and the narrow area is .100" wide. I'm going to link my video at the time of the find. Thanks for any help.

I got tired of the screen glare so I have some 50% anti-glare screen protectors on ebay for your enjoyment. Laser cut right here in the USA. Testing the waters with this first batch.

Being able to save at least 2 different patterns on the same search mode would be nice.
Also having a target ID displayed when in the disc, ferrous and target tones option would make it easier to make patterns.
I'm not missing the fe number as much as I thought I would before getting the machine. The visual fe is growing on me. Lead bullets fall directly on the line in AT/HC but drops be

I asked a question a couple of days ago about saving patterns. I had read the manual but it wasn't clear to me what you could or couldn't save? Now after having the machine in my hands I will explain what I have found.
1- You can edit and save 4 ferrous limit patterns. These patterns are global.
2- You can customize 1 discrimination pattern for each search mode. This disc pa

Thanks. I was hoping that there was a way to save several full set ups in memory somewhere. Like my etrac has a ton of slots to save patterns. For instance I may start search

Maybe is just me..... But no matter what machine you run hot in a nail bed you're going to get falsing on deep rusty iron. Usually an edge or end beep. My etrac running high manual sensitivity will find rusty iron at a foot + deep. I think some are asking for miracles and loose sight of just basic logic.

I've often think about the old flash cameras. You would hold a button down to charge the flash circuit to be released for the flash. I thought this type of high energy could be used in detectors..... I mean you hit a target, charge up the ground penitrating jolt then shoot that juice into the ground taking a photo of the target. Then the target would be displayed on the screen rotating ar
