I, for one am glad that your company has decided to have your units tested in the field by RESPECTED users (well most of us respect them anyway) before releasing them to the public (that's more than I can say about certain other detector companies that choose to rush a new unit onto the sales floor before a thorough testing). Your company has come a long way since it's inception and the

There is also one for sale at the findmall forum....and there is a second post under the ad which reads......."I was just told by KellyCo that they had been told to stop selling the MX Sport because of a second defect from beach salt water overload. ".........if that is true then the nightmare problems continues for this detector....pity because it looked like it might be a winner

As a Canadian, all that I can add is that as long as Hilliary does not get elected as your President - America should rebound from the mess that Obama and the Democrats have created. The current foreign policy of the Obama team has caused many of the USA's adversaries to lose any respect for your country....Iran continues to do as it pleases thanks to John Kerry's idiotic deal that he

Just a quick comment on the non transferable Fisher warranty....I think Fisher is missing a great opportunity to add to their bottom line....all that they have to do is make that warranty transferable for a modest fee....in the $50 to $75 range...everyone would come out a winner...the seller, the buyer and Fisher...but I guess that would make to much sense to whoever is in charge of the company.

Started in the 70's with a Garrett Groundhog.......best day that I ever had was finding about 25 silver coins in about 2 1/2 hours........nowadays I would consider myself lucky if I find 25 in a year ( has not happened recently)...I am 67

I have an MXT Pro now with 4 coils....have tried all the top brands (V3i, Etrac, F75se and Deus).....and for me the Pro just suits my style of hunting. I have to admit that the Racer appears to have a lot going for it but as tempted as I am to order one - I think that I will stay with the Pro - it may not be the top dog in the hunt but it can still track down most of the good targets (assuming my

If you insist on using Paypal - then to be on the safe side - only accept Paypal from a long time forum member or from someone who has feedback on the forums....I will never accept a Paypal from someone who recently signed up to a forum.

If you are from Canada like I am - you are going to get cheated by Paypal when they do the currency exchange from US $ to Can $...earlier this year I bought and sold using Paypal...transactions were is US $.....this is what happened - when I paid for the item - Paypal charged me 20% currency exchange but a short time later when I sold something and converted the US funds into Can $ so that I coul

If this hobby dies off it will likely be because of the mouth breathers who run around digging holes and not bothering to cover up them up - in then end this will result in more and more public and private land being declared off limits to metal detecting. The problem for our hobby really started when those asinine detecting tv shows hit the air waves.

One more thing about the Impact ad showing up on the Kellyco site - they might have shot themselves in the foot because anyone thinking of buying a Fors CoRe on sale now knows that they can get an Impact for just a little more money

"
Warranty could read for original purchaser only"
That would be a big mistake if the warranty is not transferable - that is why I won't even consider buying a used Fisher detector even if it is only 2 or 3 months old - a non transferable warranty is bush league as far as I am concerned - at least you don't have that issue with a Whites or a Minelab product and maybe e

Now that the Fors Core is on sale for $599 - it may be worth a look or you could pick up an MXT Pro for about $500 or so. Earlier today I saw a mint looking DFX for sale for $375 on another Friendly forum - that would be pretty hard to beat.

I have this listed over at treasureclassifieds.com with pics if anyone is interested...will consider all reasonable offers up until Sat. evening before I list it on a certain auction site. If you were to check the Kellyco site - this package would set you back over $1500. Works fine but a P.I. is just not my cup of tea. Also will consider a trade for a mint condition Fisher F75 Se or Ltd.

Credit goes to goldman55 at the findmall site who discovered that the F75's run a lot smoother with less EMI using the following settings....I thought that I would post it here because there may be some F75 users who don't frequent the findmall site....from the looks of it - the few people who have tried it are very impressed with the way it improves performance.

There is a chance that the pkg. was shipped by land and sea instead of the more expensive option (by air)....I sold a Minelab Sovereign to a fellow in Australia a couple of years ago and he wanted the cheapest form of shipping available - I think it took 10 weeks for the pkg to finally show on his doorstep.

Using a V3i can be as complicated or as easy as you want it to be.......use the stock programs and it is a turn on and go detector...where people get into trouble is when they start making all kinds of adjustments that are sometimes unnecessary. I did some searching on the forums and one really disturbing thing caught my attention....since Minelab stopped selling the Explorer model - they no longer offer repairs on it because of a lack of parts....so if I were to buy an Etrac which has been out for a few years now and if some time in the future - they decide to discontinue the Etrac line would the same thing happen? I have read about peo

If you had the chance to choose between a used Etrac or a Whites V3i (neither has a warranty) - both are in good working condition - which one would you choose. I have never used an Etrac but I have read quite a bit on the virtues of each detector and it appears that they both have their pros and cons. I know whites service is second to none but I understand that Minelab's service has impro

As stated in my original post - I thought his prices were outrageous but the kicker for me was he had the nerve to indicate that he wanted to keep everything else found....so let's say a person loses a ring on their property which has been in the family for generations (the property that is) and this clown finds a different ring and makes the claim that it is his - that is what really irked

Thinking of selling my mint condition CZ3D - it is a 1021 series Los Banos model (not Tom certified though) - looking to put the funds towards a V3i....$575 shipped. I would post it on that new site but since I am in Canada that is not permitted.
I can provide references from another site where I have sold a few detectors in the past (like everybody else, I like "test driving" differ
