Keith I take it you prefer other detectors to the Sovereign for deep silver what would they be? Ilike to hunt for old coins and am always looking for a better detector. I know you recommend the Omega 8000 and the f75. Since Im getting Tesoro Tejon Ive ruled out the AT Pro because of questionable depth.

Its not a matter of the unit Dan. Its a matter what the mineralization in the soil , and choose a detector that will do the best job in that particular area. I know that some detectors work better in some soils than others. Maybe It's more of a philosophical question than a realistic one?

If your in an area you have never hunted what tests can you preform to know the mineralization of the soil. Does mineralization affect the coil swing?

Ive read that these detectors have problems picking up small gold items and fine gold chains is there any truth to this ? How do these machines compare to the Whites Duel Field ? One detector being being a PI machine and the CZs being duel frequency perhaps they can not be compared? Im talking depth, separation and recovery time. Im referring to salt water hunting

Ive been doing my due dilligence in regard to the Tesoro Vaquaro I was interested in Keith's Southern opinion on the Widescan Coils saying that he was not that impressed with them. I hope I have not misquoted you Keith. Perhaps you could give me the coils you prefer for the Vaquaro in trashy areas and for coin shooting. I also have a Bandido 2 u max How about your opinion and some pointers
