Yep learning curve for sure - can not think of any other detector I ever had that would completely null in pinpoint mode like Racer did. - kind of confused me when it happened. Hopefully at another location, that does not have a auto parts store buried a foot down, I may never have this occur.

Odd did not VID in all metal will try again. Also did turned up. Normal targets seemed quite - but overload was plenty loud.

Yep not the best hunting location but challenging. My goal is to find a coin in that mess someday. But for now off to my lakeside retreat.

It looks like a lot but it is a junk yard. There is too much red brick and large metal parts. Hell there could be a whole car down there. I dug a few foot deep holes that I did not find a target but my Garrett Pinpointer and Racer both said it is still deeper. I did not bring my back hoe so I passed on anything deeper then a foot.

Yep figured that out - when I saw the word OHM on the back as well. I was not planning on escalating and the back was right at twelve inches deep. This is not the first car part I have found. Still looking for the gold tooth or chain to go with the Rap Mobile.

I had a deep target that would Tone ID high but no VID until I dug out the whole more - then put 5 inch coil down in the bottom and got VID. It was a larger target so it surprised me it did not VID until I got pretty close. It was an expensive car Speaker buried almost a foot down when I got to it. I only uncovered the very back of it So was a large chunk of copper wire with a magnet. Sorry

Ok took racer the lot next door aka the junk yard. It has been raining a lot some the ground was damp well over a foot down. Most of dirt is kinda of a clay but some is really nice soil. As I have said before lots of trash both modern and iron. So an working the edges least trashy part of lot and she is running quiet. I am still trying to learn what she is telling me. - main reason I think I was

Just got my Racer Pro Pack. Hooked it up and took for a short spin on the porch and backyard. Ran a little chatty inside but was able to quite it down with freq shift - outside very quite. Over my deck nails you can tell it has fast response. No side by side yet but seems comparable to T2 in two tone. Menu pretty straight forward. Not much to guess on. Wow - interesting responses from the group so far - the majority would not buy anything. - I am guessing that is because this is a very seasoned group who have kind of had there hands on most detectors that interested them and kept the ones they liked already.
For me - maybe a used White's dual field or used Minelab Excalibur and use the difference to buy me a week in a hotel by a nice

Golden Detectors is the name and it is Downtown Golden. I said Denver because as you know Golden and Denver are pretty close. When I first went there I remember two guys running it. But last time I stopped by in Feb of this year I only saw one guy. It had been a few years since I had been there - still a good store. White's, Garrett and Teknetics they always said Garrett did not run as wel

When I got into detecting the only reason I knew White's existed I went into a detector store in Denver and that is what they carried prior to that a Rock store near where I lived in the mountains carried Minelab - never heard of them either. What I had seen many times before I got interested is Bounty Hunter. If you pick up mags Minelab, Fisher, Teknetics, and Garrett are very prominent - W

It's just like the end of the world - if you wait long enough it will come. I really hope they have something coming out I think they need it. It is kind of like Harley Davidson someday they will have to do something different. I am sure Harley will. - not sure White's will make it in time. Hope they do though.

Be yourself - be honest - talk about the good and the bad (you have already done this in your intro to the V3) and fear not how we will take what we read. Trust me it will be fine. I for one and very interested in hearing what you find and see with V3I - been my bucket list of detectors for a while - I always that it was underrated - prove me right (if I am right of course).

With all the Hype - good - OK - bad - magical - etc... reports. Do you think the difference is just people and there ground or does the Racer have the performance variablity that Fisher is known(belittled) for. I get to make my own mind up soon.

Well my T2 is the upgraded version so it has all the tone options the F75 does (well almost but the F75 has two versions of 3 and 4 tone one set up tones nickels. I tested my T2 and it up tunes the nickels as well just no mid tone option for nickels). The F75 has a few more processes mainly Default and JE. - but again not big difference because default is a process just could not tell if was clos

Well the F75 is off to a new home today, and a Racer is on its way as we speak. I have finally joined the Race. I liked the F75 but there are some things about the T2 that made it work more efficient for me - not better but more efficient for me. Plus it is green and goes well with my Relic Recovery Vehicle.
Still have my eyes on a Deus - someday I am sure one will find a place in my home.

DFX - they know how to do two frequencies. DXT maybe since D stands for Dual. - Add a Waterproof case to 10 meters, wireless headphone option, and full Stereo mixed mode, and manual GB override or a way to set a GB offset.

Would one of you XP Deus owners do a video showing how the Deus performs on Edge. Something like Keith's Deck videos would do the trick. Is it really that bad on edge or is it just a setup issue or no issue at all.
Thanks.

Ok had MXT Pro and T2SE2. - Then because I could not resist I purchased a Tom Certified F75LTD2. So the T2 and F75 for me are a Chevy and a Buick. One is a little nicer to drive has more standard features and look a little classier. The other has cleaner lines is lest complicated and a little sportier in operatin. But the truth is for me the are both GM cars that will do the exact same performanc

Yea was pretty sure you still had a Racer in your back pocket still. Have not seen anything that would steal it away from you yet (but that two freq Russian unit has promise). Sure wish my T2se2 or F75Ltd2 would sell would be all over that Racer.

Was on the FM channel when I spotted a classified from a very popular expert on this site. He was selling his Racer Pro Pack. My guess is he still has one. Oh and if he already posted on this site he is selling - I will feel stupid for the rest of the day.
