I get the feeling that faster recovery speeds, above 5 for instance, will be for mop up duty after an area has been hit at the slower speeds and then only in the worst of conditions.

DST off and Frequency F1 is very quiet around EMI on the Anniversary model but I never compared DST on/off for depth.. LTD may be different.

From watching dirt hunting videos it seems that a sensitivity of 22-23 is about all that's needed for good depth and decent stability at most of the sites they were filmed in..

I felt the original T2 was not able to set the disc spot on for an iron nail breakup audio response. One number was s tad too low and the next number a shade too high to get that proper audio breakup response on typical nails. The newer version are improved in a couple ways. It's my belief from what I have read so far on the Nox that 50 tones is more telling, but like a lot of people I can't deal with the audio using 50 tones on a detector. I won't know for sure till I get one and that is a couple months off now.
