TOM is it feasible to use the beach low conductor when hunting inland at old home site coin shooting with lots of square nails? I know you say Start with ATG HC then maybe try ATG LC just trying to see what you might try after that.
Thanks Mike

Well found my first Carson City Minted Coin this past weekend. I tried All Terrain General Low Conductor, Sen 22, Ferrous Limits 10/3, Recovery 2, Audio Normal/Simple. Horseshoe On, I was surprised that there were 9 square nails in that hole 3 not pictured as when I was checking the hole I found 3 more. I will post the target trace clip so everyone can see what it looked like. If you turn up the

Hey TOM just wanted to thank you for suggesting ATG LC on the Manticore. You said it would open another door vs using ATG HC. You were right! At the request of a friend that is waiting for his manticore to come in he wanted me to try out ATG LC. I've just started detecting a 1 room school site that was built out of wood "1879" and has been gone for a very long time says the owner o

TOM I'm going to guess this DC splatter/ripple would show up on the screen? I didn't see anything out of the norm but I will be sure to watch it a little more closer on the next outing.
As far as Sensitivity goes a guy was telling me that when you raise your sensitivity your not turning up the power. Your just boosting the return signal? He was saying one side of the coil sends out a

Well I could tell when the battery back was topping off the MC as you would see the lightening bolt. If it was drained some it would be running the whole time. I might have to run another test.... But TOM could tell us if it better on the battery to start charging from 10% give or take instead of always just topping it off.

Steve I seen this when I got home. Today I had a few hours about 2hrs I detected in ATG HC and when I got home. I plugged the Manticore into the Anker 321 Power Bank and it took about 2 1/2 hours to completely charge the machine. Also it went from full charge to 75% left. So it used about 25% to charge it. It has for LEDs and it went from 4 green to only 3 green so probably less. I will try what

Yes it does and confirms some of the air testing I did last night. Now have to get out in the real world environment and put it to work. Your comment:
A.T. Low Conductors is more 'resolute' with iron/nails.
A.T. High Conductors is slightly more 'blurry' with iron/nails.
Was spot on for what I've noticed last night, and you gave me more information as well. Thanks

Question About All-Terrain Low Conductors vs All-Terrain High Conductors
Typical settings Recovery 2, Audio Normal/Simple, 1-Regiion All Tones, Iron Vol 2 Regular Vol 21, Ferros Limits 8 & 4 as I'm learning this machine, Sens Site Specific.
Low Conductors says in manual optimized for small or thin metal targets such as hammered or cut coins and fine jewelry.

Does anyone know or have heard of a shipment of MC being sent to the US? Was talking with a dealer and he was saying it would now be spring before he might see one????? That can't be true or I hope it's not. I figure a broad spectrum of people will see this and maybe have heard something.

Tom I was looking at the user manual for the NOX 900 as I picked up one while I wait on the MC. I live in Ohio and can you explain what the manual means when it says Field Profile 1 Coins and Artifacts and Profile 2 Fine Coins and Artifacts. What do they mean Fine? I've hunted with my 800 in Park 1 trying to figure out if I should be in Field or Park. The type of sites I hunt are 1800's

Beach Mode and Ground Balance. I read this on another forum,
My Manticore does not do the automatic ground balance in all beach modes. The manual says it should but it does not.
I even contacted Minelab about it and I was told my Manticore and that one of a friend here in Germany are the only ones he has heard of and I should sent my detector to the distributor to have it fixed/exchanged.
