I was hunting the same old park today and the ground was mostly frozen solid, so i couldn't dig too many targets. The hunt was nearing an end and i got a high tone near one of the old trees and the id number was 94. The ground was still partly frozen, but i could not leave a signal like that in the ground. After painfully digging the frozen ground piece by piece, i got a small signal with Ga

It has a modulated audio all right, but have not tested the range, as i have been busy digging targets up.

Yes, by rising or lowering the gain value.

Didn't find anything fantastic, just doing some target practice with this new detector. The ground is mostly frozen solid this time of the year.

Makro racer offers both of those traits. Goes real deep and

It was like swinging a X-terra 70/ Xp deus, so i was already doing just fine with all the numbers and tones.

It feels like this detector's true potential is unlocked using the small coil, so i think the small coil is a must have coil for the racer.

I just had to use the Makro racer with the small coil in a park, that i have pounded with the Xp deus using 9"/11" coils. Still found plenty of targets and dug zero beer bottlecaps, as they where easy to identify with this machine. Settings where: id filter 35, 3 tones and sens 60.
Got few coins and a nice 925. stamped silver pearl.
All the good targets where co-located wi

Very nice video and i am lucky to have a very low mineralized ground in my country. See you later, i am going to dig to China with this thing.

Let's give the Xp deus another change to shine, this time with the 9" coil:
Did much better with the 9" coil.
Still Makro racer have nothing to worry about with it's nice performing 11x7" dd coil, so watch out other detector makers...there is a new kid in town and have performance that possibly can keep up with or beat other more expensive detectors.
