This is to inform you that as of March 1, 2018:

Racer (or as some people call it, the Red Racer) has been discontinued.

Racer 2 - the wireless module has been moved to inside so the wireless headphones will not require a dongle anymore.

Racer 2 and Gold Racer pricing has been adjusted as follows:

RACER 2 STANDARD MSRP: $499
RACER 2 PRO PACKAGE MSRP: $649
GOLD RACER STANDARD PACKAGE $599
GOLD RACER PRO PACKAGE MSRP: $749,00

We will continue to work hard to offer you the best products at the best prices in this industry as we promised in the official announcement of the merger of Nokta & Makro Detectors a couple of years ago.

Or just tell us you have one in the works, or why you do not (as in maybe there is something better).

Not good news for me trying to sell a Racer 2...

Great news for people wanting to buy them. And now my "red" Racer is a collector's item. How long til priceless?

If the reason for reducing prices on existing models is the release of newer models with performance improvements, then ALL of us are better off.
If the reason for reducing prices is to keep selling more of the same old models, then not so good IMO.

Lower prices are lower prices. regardless of reason. It's a smart business practice.

Same reason I just got a EMAIL from Whites saying I can take half off a coil if I buy a Detector because the other companies are in Panic mode.
Minelab put the hurt on them big time.

The F75 used to be $1200. Now it's $600. Was First Texas over charging all along?
Nokta/Makro is doing the same thing other detector companies are doing, they're just doing it faster, more efficiently, and with better customer service.

I would say Yes they did.

Ya Cal Cobra keep up the good work and videos you do. Apparently, GM is a bit clueless in the way of things. Nokta dropped the price of the Fors Core way back when, and when the Racer 2 launched, they lowered the price of the original Racer to $499 and $649. They discontinued the original Racer and lowered the Racer 2 to the same price slot $499 and $649. I hardly doubt that ML had anything to do with it. In fact, ML looks to be the one trying to play catch up. Nokta/Makro .........well you had better wake up pretty early if ya wanna get ahead of these folks and the great machines that they put out.
